I finally got mine on🎉 I helped a lot to heat the tire in hot water
Thank you! Followed this pretty much exactly. Except I utilized a milk crate to hold the wheel in place. Having 2 or 3 levers is necessary. When I first started I was unsure, but sure as hell it went on there! Rides like a dream now, might even get some solid knobby tires for winter now that i know I can do it.
Mate, you are the man. Thanks for taking all the time to do this.
After months of struggle trying to fit a regular tire, I bought the solid tire, much easier, the trick is really putting some of your weight on the base of the wheel, it will expand and open, soapy water helps a lot as well.
Bolted mine to a harbor freight floor mounted steel bender. Made quick work of it.
Thank you so much for what is the best video on KZread on this topic! Sincere thanks and Happy New Year.
Brilliant video 😎 When the tire is on the rim and it's not aligned properly I'm going to try using some large plumbers grips to align the tire instead of using levers, I'll let you know if it works😂
I absolutely cannot get my tire on for the life of me
Thanks for the video. Good technique !!
U a beast!!! Appreciate it!!!!!
nice video
Good video thanks 😎 I had an idea of a piece of plywood drill it and bolt the wheel down with a couple of slats of wood under it It will pull the rim onto the slats 🤔
I've tried to install this pneumatic tire same like this one, really hard to install I suggest going to a tire mechanic is best idea, because I've tried so hard to install but doesn't fit need right tools and skill and other thing is tubeless tires are best, because on these tires I can feel a small piece of concrete and so many bumps on footpath
Do you know why the blue, yellow and brown wire has a different connector on my scooter?

Dude same, the rear tire shrouds also have a different size Allen wrench, 2.5mm is too small and 3mm is too big :(
is it just as comfortable as the air tyres

It's going to be much more bumpier I bet I'm going to fit some on in the inmotion S1 but it has suspension
good video, but I'll make a correction, you can remove the motor cable and plug it back in without having to remove the controller. I know this because I did it, but to be honest I didn't even know the controller came out like this. You just need to use some needle nose plyers. Also a note, even with plyers I did struggle a bit to get the cable unhooked, same when I rehooked it. So it may or may not be easier than removing the controller depending on how nimble your hands are.
Theres a few brands of solid tires to choose from, any suggestions on how to pick the best solid tire?

The one he's using is the lightest one Honeycomb tires tend to flex and feel unstable
Is it a normal t15 or is it a security t15 that needs to be used? Do you perhaps have a link? Thanks

A friend of mine used "Security Torx T15" in his Ninebot G30 Max. Has to be "Security" type for the central hole in the tip to match the central pin in the screw.
This looks harder than replacing with a regular tire, but whenever I'm able to put the tire on the rim if it doesn't inflate I have to resort to this...
You don’t mention what tools you use. Where do I get that screw driver and what’s it called. Please 🙏

I’m having the same issue!
I advise against this tire; it is of poor quality! It deforms with heat, cold, the rubber wears out very quickly, and when water enters the tire, it starts to skid and spin on itself, so you'll be stuck in one place.
🗣️THANK Y👤U .>🎤🛴
