you talking about the dash-talisman vs the red bomb? She pauses before doing the red bomb, which gives you just enough time to charge up an unbounded counter, even if you're in midair already. The unbounded counter charges up deceptively fast, the audio cues for it are a little delayed, giving the impression that it takes longer than it actually does.

This fight was actually quite challenging. Took me like 1hr30min of just going at it until I was able to beat her. It was tough but very rewarding in the end. Definitely brought back Sekiro feels!

The amount of hate I have for this boss fight is immeasurable, I’ve spent 6 hours in total trying to beat her and I’ve only gotten to her third phase like three times. Amazing game though

I'd argue hollow knights secret boss is arguably easier than this. All the damn bosses in this game does their actions too fast and you have little to no invincible frames.

@@Jin-1337I didn’t have any issues until this boss. I enjoyed fighting all the other bosses even if couple of them took 1 hour +. Every try was enjoyable. But the final boss is too frustrating.

Really? I find Eigong fun to learn, as each phase has only 1 move more than the previous. It took me 10 hours over the course of a week or so, but I didn’t mind as it is the final boss.

@@helenwhs now that I’ve gone through and done a second play through she is not nearly as bad as I thought I think I was just pissed off at dying to her so much 😅

I’m so sad i didn’t get the third phase. midway through the game i learnt that there was gonna be a secret phase if i do everything and i tried my best without looking anything up. turns out the only thing i didn’t do was lvl up my hp to the max level…

@@strymoon good luck, my biggest tip for the last phase is simply just don’t stress out. I think it’s actually way easier than phase 2.

Do you have all of the Tao Fruits? That could be the difference. I doubt Jade arrangements could have that much of an impact on raw damage output.

Actually, I forgot about the Hedgehog Jade. It adds internal damage to enemies on perfect parries and it's a considerable addition to damage, particularly in boss fights.

This boss is just amazing

If she were Yi’s age, she may have been unstoppable
