    Lions are the only truly social cats living in large family groups. I love how tactile lions are with each other. The cubs need a good meal.

    It i, ,, s most upsetting to see that the younger cubs are at the point of starvation. Little, babies to what, a year at most need all they can eat to survive. Most especially before the drought season causes acute hunger throughout the pride. Haveever seen lionesses starve their cubs when there was still prey available! Neil (comma - sorry there was no way to separate comma from the emojis - grrr) have you ever seen this before?

    11:00 "shes busy calling, looking for the rest of the pride" Yes, yes she is. She is also busy fussing at the smothering cuteness that are those adorable lil cubs, too. 😉😂😂 Was a great video & we were able to see a lot of really good interactions & bonding moments. Very enjoyable, even calming and soothing. The soft calls from the lions & cubs, the falling rain then the rest of the wildlife & nature sounds. Couldn't ask for much more! So nice to see all the young cubs greeting mom and Auntie so beautiful to see the love and head rubbing the bonding can have a soft emotional feeling when you see this between them. I see some of the younger cubs look thinner then the older cubs and thats concerning to me I pray they get a good kill so they all can have full bellies not just some but all. Praying for these Tintswalo males and the pride to have a good future.

It is their calm and collected voices even in the hardest to watch moment that made me love this channel. MashAllah. They also know their stuff without showing off. I’ve got a question guys, as the cubs and mums are really affectionate together, do male lions ever visit their mothers again, after dad kicks them out?

  • @ross_spirou_photography

    @ross_spirou_photography

    3 жыл бұрын

    At times they do hang around the territory for that is the area they know but eventually they leave and as they get their confidence

  • @ochoaguillermo638

    @ochoaguillermo638

    3 жыл бұрын

    Well I think that is a good question. I am sure they recognize their mothers, but from what I’ve seen if they can come close to any pride that means the male lions are no threat. I have never seen or heard of a story where the sons of a male lion return after getting kicked outs. The male lions their fathers ether die of age for being old or if they are not that old their time runs out of with that pride and they move on ether they get kicked out or the male lions have interest in other prides and leave them. So if the sons are alone in their pride they were born in at they would take over like any other pride. The Rollercoster male lions had sons in the Selatie pride 5 to be exact well that made it to adult hood. 2 stayed and the younger 3 of the 5 left took over the Sand River pride. They were called the Golfcourse male lions. They interbreeds the two that stayed and they had the 5 Selatie male lions who were interbred and were the ones that killed Mr.T well 4 out of the 5. There was one younger one that died he was to young. So the Golf course male lions stayed in their pride because their fathers the Rollercoster male lions left the Selatie pride for the Syxt pride and the Sparta pride. Then MR.T and Kinky Did face maybe perhaps one of their fathers the Rollercoster male lions. Let’s assume the last Rollercoster male lion was the father to Mr.T which he did look alike like him but they’ve never seen him as their father the Mapogos and Rollercoster male lions have been competing against eachother for years even the Rollercoster male lions competed against the West street male lions but I think that had to do with that they didn’t spend time with them so they might not of have seen them as their fathers but just in the way of staying alive and surviving. For Kinky Tails and Mr.T they never saw the Rollercoster male lions as their fathers or even half brothers they probably didn’t even have a clue and they didn’t care they didn’t grow up together. So in a way Mr.T along with Kinky tail because of taking the Sparta pride from the Rollercoster male lions resulted in the last Rollercoster male lion diying because he was too old. I read that when Mr.T and Kinky Tail where trying to take the Sparta pride Mr.Ts mother might of gotten in his way and injured her killing her. I don’t know how much of that is true but is what I read might of been exaggerated maybe he didn’t kill her but is what I read. So they might have a bond with their moms and I am sure they love their moms and vise versa but they are all trying to survive. The split Tsalala pride killed their grandma I think that helped them resided them into adult hood but all ties were lost when they grew up and she went back to the Tsalala pride and they killed her. So I guess if they are not apart of the same group or pride or coalition at the moment after they mean nothing to each other especially if they have cubs I’m assuming. So Mr.T and Kinky tail went back to their mothers pride and they went not for her but for the other lionesses and when they try killing the prides cubs she try defending them and he killed her is what is said but who knows seems pretty dark. Then they both Mr.T and Kinky Tail stoped and mated with their sisters or cousins and had cubs. But those same lionesses were might of been already interbred. The Rollercoster male lions might of been father to Mr.T so when he came back if Mr.T had sisters doesn’t that mean the Rollercoster male lion had cubs with a niece or daughter? They all interbred so I think with lions is best they never go back especially male lions. They will still try and take over and kill their cubs.

    Mbiri's are in the Northern Manyeleti, and Othawa male + Mhangeni's are more or less in the Northwestern Sabi Sands. They're seperated by the Red rd male/Nharu pride, Dark Mane Avoca/Talamati pride, and Blondie + Mohawk Avocas/Nkuhuma pride. The Young Mbiri/Tintswalo males were seen in the Northern Sabi Sands a while back though, but that was before Junior passed.

    @@styx5131 so does this mean they might try and take over the pride of the Orphen male lions? Also the cubs of the Road red male lion well are they all really his cubs or are some cubs from the Orphen male lions? Do the Orphen male lions have any surviving cubs?
