I think it's crazy how this song blew up recently. Mostly because my biology professor said she used to go to their concerts all the time and collect their merch. NIN is such a great band, and I'm happy that they've made their mark in pop culture to such an extent that they're going through a resurgence in 2022 despite being created in 1988. Industrial Rock just hits differently. Edit: I'm still getting comments on this, and I'm out of college and having my first kid. 🙃 It's been two years since this comment, so I hope everyone is doing well.

If we change the melody of the vocals with a guitar or a synth it sounds fully complete just like the original song, I love the lyrics cause it's something that adds up to the song choice being put in a concept album, but if the song was instrumental it would still be as amazing, love the dark dissonant sound in the chorus, more especially the secund chorus with the dissonant chords added Love it ❤️❤️
