@Not Mick Blotters dubs stepped in so Rog can do the behind the scenes work I’m assuming, but also I think he was never that comfortable on camera so he let dubs take over. But I know he has a mic now and they are putting a camera on him that is in the works

@@larryjimbob They don't currently have what I would call true high tops, but you could look into the Accel Explorer for what I think is the closest match. They also have some other shoes that offer great protection and come up right up to the ankle but don't cover it, like the Tribo and the Scheme. These are classic big boy puffy models. The Accel Explorer is a more modern slimmed down design.

@@Wladislav don't know how people skate the canvas and vulc thin shoes, they kill my heels and the balls of my feet from impacts after a while. Definitely prefer a more classic style with padded tongue + elastic to hold it and at least a padded collar round the ankle. My favourite shoe ever was the DC Spectre before they ruined them by putting an air bubble in em....had countless pairs in different colours. Great shoe in my opinion 👍😊

@@larryjimbob Yeah the trend towards "board feel over everything" has really slimmed down the shoes to the bare minimum. I also prefer more tech and padded shoes myself. Basically all the classic (non-slim) eS shoes are well-padded and have a tongue elastics. Word of warning if you hate air bubbles though, the Tribo does have one. I mostly wear mid/low tops and when it comes to ankle protection my default choice is still the Vans Half Cab Pro. It's like wearing soft pillows around your feet.

I love all of these people as individuals, business men, artists, extreme sport athletes, innovators of skateboarding, etc. Everyone of these dynamic hosts and creators are pillars of the industry and community. So positive and funny. Kelly and Rog having maybe, collectively the two greatest databases of skater history, paired with Dubz and Edly's appreciation of individual style and poignant observation of true artistry and value within skateboarders today, not just searching for value in an individual's content ( making me look at someone's frontside 180 or remembering how. Truly. Dead ass, Hufnagel had the smoothest, most powerful yet seemingly effortless pop that ever will be. Loved that.) Nothing but positivity from everyone of them. --Eldy looks at everyone kind of starry eyed--Rog feels the vibe and perfectly cuts to his angle--Edly, ear to ear smile, "I love you guys...and this" Favorite moment, to date. Last but not least, Crob. What a magnate yet humble, empowering yet lung popping funny. A big picture guy that I need to learn so much from. Crob be the vibe;(how ya feel, how ya feel?)[-first one that has the answer to this I will marry-] Sorry but I'm with Eldy. Been working on a trick this week....HARD! 😄 I've never seen anyone do it before, I kinda made it up....think it's NBD (?) I call it the gypsy flip 😊 Today I landed one with my heels on but toes off on the ground and about three upside down but feet on the board.....it's close!! 😊

Last night I watched 'the mandela effect', it's a dope movie, but then today I get around to watching this episode, then they're talking about the mandela effect occurring with a previous episode where they talk about Jesse Boudreau's Purple Gold footage. I remember them talking about this too because I see Jesse skating in the East Bay sometimes and I was stoked to see him get mentioned. Maybe they talked about him on a stop and chat?
