Bro, same here in Aus. People here hardly even fk with private health/insurance coz you simply don’t need it unless you have long term issues requiring lifetime treatment. Frustrates me so much listening to the BS that goes on in the US

hearing about eldys story shocked me a bit.. a few years ago i had a pain in my knee every time i played soccer, went to a public hospital to check it out, got fully diagnosed with MRI and basically didnt pay! He's a professional athlete and hasn't been able to get diagnosed because of bureaucracy and money? shit's fcked up

Chris is right about the gap to rail, with physics where you land on the rail, you're trained to float past 1/2 of the rail before you get on. If it were a 12 stair rail you land a little bit higher so maybe the gap would matter... otherwise theres such a small probablilty anyone would be landing on a hardflip fs board higher than halfway up the rail

The show mirrors skateboarding in how It's hard to fake it's sincerity and the raw emotion. And being "real" ....that just so happens to be what sells. Them being real is their gimmick. The show is set up in a positive way with them knowing the importance it has on peoples lives especially with the collective trauma of this pandemic or whatever the hell it is going on today. Everyone I know seems to have some sort of Trauma or pain they are going through right now including myself. They really do seem to put everything they have into the show. It's helped me tremendously , That would sound kind of strange to someone out side the culture of skating to put such importance on a skate related podcast. If they got all up into being phony, and I'm sure it does happen, the show wouldn't sell. I think they feel they owe it to the public to do the damn thing as in no one could do it better than them. Chris sets the personality for the show. He's not only the voice of the show He's the heart and soul aswell. The others are remarkably polished at holding their end of it. The industry knows them well.... The nine club crew are good people. I The industry would not have let them be where they are if they were not who they portray themselves to be. Eldridge can seem a bit "entitled" at times, but he's not hiding it. None of of us are perfect. He's a rad guy who is hard not to like. best skater there in my opinion. Kelly doesn't get to show his serious side as much as he likes where Steezus comes off a bit serious, and it works perfect. Roger represents so much too. There are few people that know skateboarding better than Rodger. I think the pressure gets to Rodger at times. Cheer up Bub. I know I over thought the fuck out this comment.
