@@solidgold899 it’s actually referring to a painting called The Son of Man by René Magritte

@@r0ckst4r37 Actually, the cover photo coupled with the song ‘sinner man, is referring to the movie, The Thomas Crown Affair, where The Son of Man painting was referred to and highly showcased, during the scene in the movie that used sinner man as the score. Popularizing this song in this type of film montage at the stories climax, that so many movies and shows have used to date that you wouldn’t know where it came from unless you knew the inspiration behind there inspiration . So yes, that is the son of man, painting. but coupled with the song, it is referring to a movie, called The Thomas Crown affair.

Nina Simone was such a powerful soul with such and expressive force. The world was not ready for her. I love what she stood for and because she stood for something larger than herself and she believed in what she stood.

S is the highest rank in a lot of Japanese video games and in games emulating them. In these games, A is only second best. Occasionally, higher ranks can be reached, and they tend to add an S, as in SS. But S has been the standard for decades. I don't know why, but that's the way it is and that's probably what the comment was referencing.

So yes, that is the son of man, painting. but coupled with the song, it is referring to a movie, called The Thomas Crown affair.

...unique voice, unique soul. Thank you, thank you beautiful Lady.
Her voice and the relentless piano, man.
I know Nina wanted to be a concert pianist, maybe she should have been one, but she was gifted with too wonderful a voice to have sat there quietly and played. What a voice and what power a power in it.
Nothin' better than Nina to put life into perspective. I have pure love for this woman 💖
I have not heard this OUTSTANDING tune since my high school days! Praise The LORD!! The ROCK! 💝👼👸👶🌟🔥
This amazing woman finally got into hall of fame. Well deserved for this amazing artist. This song was played in so many movies. Nina Simone brought me here.
Wish we had artist like this mainstream today. Love Nina. Forever a icon !🙌
Genius, absolutely insane... the music, the band, the voice and the soul of Nina. Thank you.
This is one take. That is the most remarkable thing in this song. I cry every time I listen this song. They wake up the "god of music" in this. And every time I laugh a little when the guitar player tries to start his solo, becouse he knows, He Knows who he is playing after. To be in this session must have been a experience...
Damn, this song gets into my soul. Love the music/rhythm.
Indeed, this song has power; this woman has a powerful voice. And it stirs something inside one's soul. I listened to it years ago, on the radio... I remember I was driven by it, as if something came over me and pushed my feelings. The beat, the rhythm... Hey, but it's just me.
