UPDATE! I received replacement copies of all of the NIN albums I received that were defective or had bent covers. While SANDBAGUK did the fulfillment - they are no longer doing the reissues! These can now be found in stores and, the 2 copies I have of "Broken" from SANDBAG and my local retailer - sound wicked awesome! This one... was a bad press. I'm thankful they weren't all like this.
This is what my Nine Inch Nails - Broken EP sounds like upon the 2nd play. I decided to video it while I was trying to get a good recording of it. I had hopes that the noise would have stopped during the first song, but alas, it went the duration of the only side on the album which, I could have done without the laser etch and, would have preferred to have the writing on both sides.... the real issue with the new NIN reissues / remasters is the way they are being shoddily shipped from the distributor, and instead of an Audiophile pressing, it sounds like a rescued record dug out of a dumpster and slightly cleaned up: Seems no matter what you do, the noise never goes away. I would rather have it pressed on both sides, as one of them might play okay.
