Nimbus Boats, the Swedish boat builder, is a growing presence in North America, with cruising and day boating models that fit squarely in the recreational leisure market. Some of their larger models, particularly the 365 and 405 Coupes, have already shown they are capable cruising boats well suited for coastal and inland waters. We recently followed the Great Loop adventures of one couple who completed their Loop on a 405 Coupe, which proved a perfect choice for the trip.
Now the company announces a larger version of its coupe line, the 465 Coupe. This new yacht raises the bar in both size and mission statement for the Nimbus line, and is intended to provide a great cruising platform for couples and families looking to explore over greater distances, and for longer periods of time.
