Nimbochromis Livingstonii - A Problematic Fish?

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Nimbochromis Livingstonii is undoubtedly a gorgeous fish. There is no way anyone can deny it. However, particularly in the New Zealand context, they can be problematic in an aquarium. they are a predator hap which means they are very good at eating other fish. This means that their tank mates, at least insofar as what is available in NZ is limited. Furthermore, they get larger than what most people think of when it comes to African Cichlids. The combination of scarcity of suitable tank mates and big size means they are often housed in unsuitable conditions. Today we take a look at how we would need to look after these fish in ideal conditions. When they are properly housed, they are very rewarding and fun fish to keep in your aquarium.

I was more trying to get at the fact that they are a natural predator, and as with most fish, they will eat what they can fit in their moths. And being a bigger fish with a bigger mouth, a lot more can fit in their mouth than other smaller things
