I'm 60 years old today and I'm glad that I was able to support the development of this extraordinary band. could follow almost from the beginning For me the period from 1972 - 1983 was an extremely productive time in the field of black music. I'm the same big fan of the music of that time today as I was then. CHIC plays a very important role in this.

Lol at 55:03 he accidentally transposed the next song into the previous songs key! Amazing because he took relative pitch and moved his hand out of its usual position to match the key he was in instead of scrapping it and using the next songs opening riff to establish the new key...it was an educated mistake lol

I love this but, I noticed something as I'm a musician myself, I think the horn players are actually just punching in and out on the songs because their fingers aren't even moving on the instruments when they're supposedly playing multiple notes. Since Chic's music was so complex with the arrangements I wouldn't be surprised if the horns are tracks in their live performances.

Thank you for thi great moments!!! But I don't understand the vídeo title. Nile Rogers is and ever was and always will be a Chic member. I know he was producing and playing around. But for those who spend some hours singing, dancing, whissling, tapping when some Chic Tunes were rolling, Chic, Nice Rogers and Bernar Edwards are the same thing. :-))
Lol at 55:03 he accidentally transposed the next song into the previous songs key! Amazing because he took relative pitch and moved his hand out of its usual position to match the key he was in instead of scrapping it and using the next songs opening riff to establish the new key...it was an educated mistake lol

relative pitch isn't necessary to fix the mistake, he just slid up at the soonest possible opportunity.

Michael Gill The originals left Chic back in the 80s. Now they perform as F.L.O.C. (Former Ladies of Chic).

I love this but, I noticed something as I'm a musician myself, I think the horn players are actually just punching in and out on the songs because their fingers aren't even moving on the instruments when they're supposedly playing multiple notes. Since Chic's music was so complex with the arrangements I wouldn't be surprised if the horns are tracks in their live performances.
