Mom is handing work and life balance very well. She is a good example you can be with your child and get things done at the same time.
I love how realistic it is with her showing the sweet baby sort of getting in the way of cooking, that's exactly what my baby girl does too lol!!!

Yes! I saw so many babies on KZread who would sit contently on the floor for hours playing by themselves while their mom cooks/cleans. For a while I wonder what’s wrong with my babies because they would NOT leave me alone for a sec. But Moe’s videos telling me that babies are supposed to get in the way!

Same here! I'm a mom of three and really wish there were more videos on the internet like this. Busy, chaotic mommy-life handled lovingly and patiently. This is a very realistic and wholesome video style in my opinion. And it makes me feel good to see how much I have in common with moms on the other side of the world!

@@misspika9851Oh, how I wish that was true! I find that less people speak (proper) English every day. I think Moe is doing very well, considering that English is not widely spoken in Japan. I live in the U.S. and English is becoming the second language here.

It’s actually quite right. If you ever been to Japan, without knowing a single word in Japanese and cannot read, you will find this person your saving grace. Not many people there speak English, let alone fluent. You might find it a challenging experience until you are really in a big trouble and need a helping hand and just yourself in the middle of the crowd who will just walk pass you because they don’t want to communicate with you in foreign language. Japan is not quite like any other countries in Asia, if you meet someone with a good heart that can speak communicative English, do consider yourself extremely lucky. You think they will eventually help with any means they could offer if they don’t speak English? Think again. Not all of them like foreigners of any country.

It appears your "assistant" is becoming a very busy young lady! Cute watching the stool move before seeing your assistant moving it! Thank you for sharing these precious videos!
I don’t understand myself, but somehow I also clapped along when Moe and Sutan clapped about using a spoon. I’m happy to see Sutan grow. Nikujaga looks very delicious! I actually made Nikujaga couple times before and my version of this has much smaller pieces of potatoes (to make them cooked faster) and little soup (to simmer the vegetables more in sauce).
Sutan will surely get the tastiest Bentos ever when she gets older. 🤤

Sutan is adorable 💕 please show us how to make gyoza when you can. I love your channel 💗
This is a wonderful channel that you have created, where you share your fine culture with us all . Thank you for also sharing baby Sutan with us , she is growing up right before our eyes. The food you make always looks like an art form and very tasty indeed . I also think that the kimonos that you wear are very beautiful !!!!!!!!!! Please stay safe my friends , Your friend from Canada!!!!!
Ahhhh Sutan looking at the camera after eating with a spoon 😩 so cute !!! I feel kind of proud?
Sutan is so adorable! I found your channel a couple weeks ago and have been binge watching all your videos. My children really enjoy eating Japanese food. I have already used your fried chicken and your yakitori recipes with great success. I struggle to find Dashi where I live currently, but plan to order some online soon. Thank you for sharing your videos. There is much negativity in the world these day and it's nice to see something uplifting and wholesome.

What a heartwarming channel. Loving the long chopsticks for cooking and how she talks all the time to help her daughter’s vocabulary.
if sutan’s crying is because she wants to see what happening inside the pan, I think a movable/rolling high chair will be a good purchase for kimono mom
I recently found this channel and I really love all your videos! I love that you use a lot of japanese and only enough english to get the basic instructions across. It really helps me practice my japanese listening skills!

Thank you for this recipe! I didn’t have sake so I used ginger as you suggested. It turned out amazing! I am half Japanese and enjoy watching your channel...when you speak to Sutan, it reminds me of how my grandmother spoke to me when I was young. I also translate your Japanese for my husband as we watch. 😊

Thank you so much for making this dish. I first heard about it in a manga I read. Now I have a new menu item for dinner. I made it last night, double recipe and ate three bowls with rice. It was SOOOooooooo GOOD! My wife and I definitely loved it. I'll be having some leftovers for lunch in a few hours. Aloha and mahalo! Keep up the great work. Little Sutan is such a cutie! *pinching cheeks*
I just found your channel, and I am enjoying it so much. What an attentive and loving mother you are. I love Japanese food and culture. I would enjoy seeing some tofu or okara dishes or possibly some simple pickles. I want to try to make nukazuke, but I am not brave enough to try yet. Thank you from America.
