Nikon Z9 Autocapture
Hi and welcome to my channel
In this video, I will go through setting up Autocapture on a Nikon Z9 - it will be exactly the same for the Z8 which has now been implemented in a firmware update.
I will give step by step instructions along with some hints and tips of each feature so you can use autocapture in the field.
I personally use Nikon equipment, being a mixture of DSLR and Mirrorless equipment, I am not sponsored in any way, shape or form by Nikon so this is my personal choice. Other manufacturers will still be valid.

Thanks for sharing. I don’t have a Z9 but thought about getting z8. Just wanted to say, I love the voice! It reminds me of Star Wars Admiral Ackbar.

Flattery will get you nowhere. Yes, Autocapture was added to the Z8 whilst I was filming this video - works just the same

Great video. Taught me a few things. The resent update has changed things a bit.... could you do another video?... maybe? Might help new comers 👍 thanks

Very good video. You mentioned that the minimum distance to the "target/object" should be the focal length multiplied with 20. So if I'm using a 600 mm lens the minimum distance should not be less than 12 meters?

@@PerratheSwede yes that's right, that becomes a limitation if you want to capture small birds as they will probably not trigger autocapture.
