I shoot the 35-150 you are speaking of and have the adaptor for it. It works flawlessly. Heres the name you can amazon ETZ21 Lens Adapter Mount Megadap FE-Z for Sony E - for Nikon Z Autofocus Adapter. This paired with the 35-150... game changer

Thanks for posting, I’m holding out til the Z6iii and hoping they improve the autofocus. Regarding your tamron 35-150mm lens I find that the Megadep ETZii adapter works like a charm on my 70-180 sony tamron lens. I’d be curious for you to try it on your 35-150 and post about it.

Thanks for another excellent wedding video. I was wondering though if you would consider making an autofocus settings video like you did with the Nikon z6ii? Wishing you a really good wedding season. Bedt regards Conny

Thanks for your great video. I followed your advice - sold my canons bought Z9 with tampon 35-150, what amazing lens. I have also ordered the 135mm. What else do you use with the Z9/Z8? for events, wedding and portraits

Hi, So this one over the Sony A7R 5 as wedding hybrid (and all-around) camera for you ? The less-perfect autofocus by low light can be a bit cumbersome, but it has others advantages…

The Z 24-70 2.8 is my next purchase. Interesting how much you stick to 2.8, which I love, but I’d be nervous about this as a couple walked along, in regard to the potential for them being on different focal planes, can you advise on when to stop down for this; for instance, when couples/groups posing on slightly different planes I’d likely be at 5.6 to 4? Thanks

It's funny that you stick to primes on a wedding day but 85% of the shots I take on a wedding day are on the Z 24-70 F/2.8S. It's such a versatile lens, really.

Great to see Nikon back in the event/portrait/wedding game with the Z8, but I don't think I would pick it over the Sony A7R5 + 24-70/2.8 GMii + 50/1.4GM at this point if I could only have one.

Do you think that the Z8 "too much" camera for weddings? I currently have two Z6 II cameras, but I'm not sure if I should wait for the Z6 III, in case it arrives soon. Alternatively, I could invest in the Z8, which is a fantastic camera, although it would consume my entire equipment budget. The grip, improved autofocus, and raw video capabilities are the features that appeal to me and might convince me to upgrade.

@@TaylorJacksonPhotoYeah, that's what I'm afraid of. But, regarding the Z8, do you think the upgrade is worth it? I'm just wondering if the differences between these two cameras are significant when it comes to weddings and events. And, thank you for all the great content you put here all the time!!
