You can use a DX lens on a FX camera. It will crop in automatically.

Good review video which I have enjoyed watching. The Zfc is a great camera for Blogging and photography. Although the recently released Nikon Z30 is also a great blogging camera for less money. The only weakness with the Zfc (and the Z30) is that Nikon have released very few Z-Mount DX (APS-C) lenses. Most Z-Mount lenses are FX (Full-frame). Bonne vidéo de critique que j’ai aimé regarder. Le Zfc est un excellent appareil photo pour les blogs et la photographie. Bien que le Nikon Z30 récemment sorti soit également un excellent appareil photo de blogging pour moins d’argent. La seule faiblesse avec le Zfc (et le Z30) est que Nikon a sorti très peu d’objectifs Z-Mount DX (APS-C). La plupart des objectifs à monture Z sont FX (Full-frame).

Thank you Dennis! I would love to test out the Z30 and compare it with the Zfc. The downside of the Zfc is the stabilisation. As you could see it was shaky. Thank you for your input Dennis 😊

It is cristal clear now ! I was always wondering what Nikon called a "DX Format" camera and an FX format. ! Celine ! You have the latest Z fc ! You are so lucky ! I just love the design ! It is a camera I would love to own...but the stabilisation is awful! Too bad Nikon didn't do an effort on that part ! It's always a pleasure to see your videos ,always thorough and easy to watch ! Keep them coming !

Thank you ! Yes I like the design too, it's a great piece of tech ! For my voice over I use the Rode ST USB mini and for vlogging the Boya.

Vidéo interressante mais qui comporte une coquille. Les optiques DX sont compatibles sur les FX. Le boîtiers FX passent automatiquement en mode crop DX :)

Salut Manu, les objectifs fonctionnent rétro activement sur les FX mais en rognant dans l’image c’est vrai. Je n’ai pas été très clair

I have a Nikon D5500 and want to go mirrorless. My g/f likes to vlog So how can Nikon and other people call it a good vlogging camera if it does not have IBIS I wonder if they left it out to keep the cost down, or was it due to the small size?
