In this case it really feld like it. Becorse the Camera wasnt runnig with new Battries. After some investigation i found out that the Battery Cover that you crew out had some corrosion on it. A littel rub later, the camera came to life again! was a nice feeling!

i have the same problem with my EM. can you show how you fix the foam to the frame of the mirror? very good video but lack parts of the fix problems (and out of frame)

Thanks for your question! And for the good point about some parts beeing out of frame. Iam sorry about that. I need to think about a better setup if iam doing a video like that in the future. The foam is simpley glued to the mattscreen frame. You by the foam were some adhisive is alredy on the back. Just look for ligthseal foam on ebay. They usally have glue on the backsite. Just cut it to the right sice and stick it on. 2mm tick foam is good here. Just be shure to get the surface nice and clean befor you stick the new foam to it. Cheers and the best luck with your Em!

That depends on what needs to be done of corse! But the „littel“ stuff like new mirror Foam and new light seels, and a good clean up and some new greace here and there will cost you (here in Germany) from 80 - 160 Euro. But if you dont need to take off the Top cover like i did in the Video, than it will be a good job for a rainy day! Just get some good quallity foam!!! Just look an ebay. Take the 2mm thick one. And just by some ligther fluid and a bag of cotton swaps and have some fun! You can even replace the light seals with a thick string of black wool. Thats the cheapest way to go.
