NIKON 1 J5 Photoshoot SHOOTOUT test with NIKON d750. In this video I put the Nikon 1 J5 mirrorless camera to the test outdoors with a very quick few test shots during a photoshoot against the every so capable Nikon D750 Full Frame.
These cameras are completely different in comparison and should not really be compared but for the sake of the video I am using my full frame DSLR to shoot against the Nikon 1 J5.
The photos end up looking pretty decent considering the is no kick light or reflector used outdoors to really separate the model from the back ground.
You can definitely tell the D750 had much more dense pixels and richer colours with much more focus and clarity but the 1 J5 definitely kept up well.
I will be making another video to test the 1 J5 under low light situations and also with external flash units.

So true, there isn't much out there showcasing and explaining the Nikon 1 J5. Ever since i bought it years ago I've wished there was a cool tutorial video or photography book that demonstrated its use. I took a one-on-one lesson and can't remember some of the exercises we did since i was still learning photography plus the different camera settings. Whatever more you do with it, i'll watch, for sure! thx!! Love the camera for portability.
This, Nikon 1 J5, is still an awesome camera for today, considering the size, weight, image quality, and price (2nd-this year of 2021); with FT1 adapter, i can use it very good with my F mount 300mm and it gets about 810mm vie in a much lower cost...

I got my Nikon 1 J5 now anyway its possible to transfer my video to my Iphone 7 plus because i using my iphone and editing so the video that i shoot in Nikon then transfer to my phone is still the same good quality video or if i transfer its lessen the quality

I've got the same two cameras as well, I bought the J5 just a toy really... However the 2.7x crop on the J5 makes it a surprisingly good alternative to a teleconverter. 😀

The sensor in Nikon J5 is absolutely horrible! The raw files are impossible to get a nice look from. I had it for 6 months but sold it. Been thinking for years about getting the original Sony RX100mk1, but as the sensor is the same I never got around to it, afraid that I would get same horrific raw files. The best sensor for raw in the Nikon 1 -line is the 10mp sensor in J1, V1 and S1.
