Far better product then the competition's product that I just installed on my Tesla M3. Although I followed their video, this product and video is FAR superior. You can't beat having the backing paper being pre-cut to assist with the installation of the product and the guidance that's included in the video. I wish that I had order this kit instead. Great job!!!

These videos are great! On M7, make sure you use "just enough to cover the chrome" on top, you want as much down low as possible. On M9, don't be too sparing with the overhang on the first stick, you want a pretty good amount. Make sure that the inboard chrome on the curve along the bottom of the mirror will be covered before you stick the rest of it down, I had to waste a piece because I didn't overhand the first stick enough and chrome showed along that curve underneath.

For mirror installation toughest part was the M2 to get it right without wrinkles. Reason being small area to stick at the start. Had wrinkles on both side, since it is under it is okay as no one would notice other than a 3 year old.

Excellent video. Make it look so easy, but it isn’t.

Supplied heat gun is going to make a nice ornament as it didn't come with a UK plug! kit is great though just finished mine

Great video 👍 Wouldn’t it be easier to take of the mirror cap? You can slide your squeegee under the mirror clips and it comes right off.

Great video! Do you recommend starting on the rear passenger doors first since these seem easier?

We recommend starting with the decals and handle wraps first to get the hang of it. Then you can move onto the window trim and mirrors.

kelly white We use Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine and then dry with a microfiber cloth. However, you can use pretty much anything that will remove dirt and dust including glass cleaner and regular car wash soap.

hello, i just ordered a full kit, and was wondering if there is any recommended preparation before starting the process? (like cleaning the chrome with rubbing alcohol) or anything that would ensure no bubbles?

We recommend cleaning the chrome with window cleaner or diluted rubbing alcohol before applying the vinyl. Make sure everything is dry before starting as well.

Is there any way to use less pieces of vinyl (even if it's way harder) so that you don't have all of the overlapping going on? I feel like the overlaps that I could see in this video would really bother me.

There's definitely a way to do it with less pieces but it would require a lot of vinyl installing experience. With that being said, our kit is designed so the seams are not visible under normal circumstances. This video was filmed with several high-wattage studio lights shining on the car's trim so it is not an accurate representation of how the seams look in real life.

do you clean the chrome before hand in any specfic way?

I'd suggest wiping with isopropyl beforehand, make sure there's no lint or anything left behind from the cloth.

m7 needs more slack at the top.

Edit: just realized you were talking about installing our kit. We've had shops do it for around $350-$500, but you'll have to ask around to see if they will do it with a kit. Some like to do it with their own cut material. We have a guy in San Luis Obispo that installs them with our kit for $400 all in.

Door handles are not full wrap and I assumed it was.

Doesn't wrap around the "back" of the handle, but doesn't have visible chrome when the handle is not being used.
