Keep in mind, it took record setting performances from Booker to beat the Nuggets in Games 3 & 4, shooting 79% for both games combined, something never done in NBA playoff history. If Booker hadn't gone mental, the Suns likely get swept. The Suns gave away too much to get Durant.

@@kinglightning5256 Landale looks to be a very solid defensive center and isn’t Biyombo more of a defensive center? And they were no more successful at stopping Jokic than Ayton. Sure Ayton didn’t do well, but I think maybe he is getting a little too much heat, because big fella is a monster right now and I’m not sure that anyone can do much to slow him down very much.

Shannon is the only one that actually talks about Denver players and gives them props for actually winning and the Nuggets game plan. Skip and everyone else is just focusing on the fact that the Suns/KD lost, and not that the Nuggets won.

Yeah but the only way they can really get respect is to win it all nobody cares about how good they were in the regular-season anymore it's the playoffs. Now some Denver fan's going to think that I'm downing their team when really that's the truth number one teams don't matter when you sitting at home just ask the Bucks who at least can say we got a chip. We've seen a team get beat after winning 73 games and yet we still put a lot on this being number one stuff. Before the series started, I said that the depth of the Nuggets was gonna overwhelm the Suns eventually, and that's what happened. KD and Book were neutralized, no one outside of Cam Payne could get anything going, and their defense could not make up the difference. The Nuggets were getting whatever they wanted at the rim, beating them on the glass, and stroking from 3. They attacked the Suns' 3 biggest weaknesses.

The best thing Denver has going on for them is that they’re still very young. Jokic should’ve taken GSW last year to a game 6-7 instead they ran him out the building 4-1.

The Suns are really bad. They turned the ball over practically every possession if you hadn't noticed. They didn't show up even to the games they won. They were very sloppy. They are very badly coached by Monty Williams. Monty Williams is a HORRIBLE coach. The Suns would have lost to the Clippers this series (the team they beat the prior series).

Stop it. Lebron was never soo impactful like Jokic is right now. I mean this man grabs offensive rebounds like nothing to make 2nd chances for his team, he is averaging nearly 35 points in this series, but he is averaging 10 ASSISTS WHILE PLAYINF CENTER POSITION. HE IS CENTER AND HE IS AVERAGING 10 ASSISTS PER GAME AND SHOOTS 49% FROM DEEP IN THIS SERIES. I'm sorry, but Lebron was never that guy. He was never soo efficient like Jokic is, nit just from the field, but from everywhere in the court, Jokic is simply more efficient player than Lebron and he produces more assists than Lebron so I'm gonna say Jokic does everything that Lebron does, but better. And that's why his impact is bigger than Lebron's.

It's a good comparison, but LeBron was never on this Jokic level of impact and efficiency, even when he played with Hall of Famers that helped him take a lot of load off. Jokic took 100% of load and pressure and critique and hate from media and swallowed it up and delivered.

Nuggets no joke, I’m a Dubs fan also. I think Nuggets would have taken us 7 if Murray was right, but that’s his issue. Availability is kind of key in the playoffs!

The reason people have overlooked the Nuggets this postseason (not me though) was because of their postseason failures the last 2 years. But what a lot of people seem to be missing and not mentioning, is each of those years, they weren't healthy. Jamal Murray has missed the last 2 post seasons. This is the first team they have been fully healthy, and I expected them to get out of the West from the Get-Go. I called Celtics-Nuggets from the beginning. Jokic is the best player in the league. He does it so effortlessly.

When Skip continues to praise KD for those back to back FMVP's he always fails to mention that Ty Lue said his game plan was to double Steph and let everyone else beat them. KD is included with everyone else. What has KD proven when he's the guy being doubled in the playoffs? What has he proven without Steph standing next to him and without Golden State. It's easy to be great next to Steph taking all the double teams he got Iggy a FMVP too😂

KD getting doubled teamed in PHX and look at Booker looking like a MVP with GREAT efficiency because he is more open than he has ever been. That's what Steph did for KD in GS. Everyone focused on not letting Steph go off and the team would get KD an open look and the media just looked at numbers and said he is better.

To be fair, the Nuggets were double-teaming Booker all day long in games 5 and 6 in this series. Didn't seem to help KD out much. But that might be because they were always rotating effectively, playing a 2-man zone essentially. KD and Book had man coverage and would get doubled by the nearest zone player. It's a great defensive strategy vs. a team with 2 perimeter superstars and no center.

The Nuggets' star-players haven't played together too long recently, due to injuries. The Suns three best players reached the finals together two seasons ago, and now they added KD.

They were playing against best offensive lineup ever with best offensive player, playing their best game ever, no one could survive this
