I love him too but... Joker is obviously the heart of the team. The other 4 starters are all streaky and occasionally disappear. Joker needs 2 of them to show up in any given game to get a win, which is usually what he gets. Could be AG and Murray, could be Murray and MPJ, could be AG and KCP... any 2.

Glad people are finally waking up to what we've been seeing in Denver for 5+ years. Not just Joker but this whole team is Fing special.

@@kloonmen374 Yeah he played almost 20 minutes, Rudy played more then 2x as much and Reid played majority of his minutes with Rudi & he played for the majority of time Jokić was out of lineup. So he was really good for a bench player, but Rudy still was the clearly best T-wolves player in that match.

Against AD he was alright and ad hold his own. Both dropped 28, jokic 16 rebound and ad 15.6 assist jokic 9.8 AD 4. Jokic 0.2 blocks ad 1.2. Joker 60% from field AD 63%.

AD is the better defender... just better all around than Gobert. But yeah, neither can guard joker.

Jokic will go down as the greatest center of all time and it’s not even close

It's not about the four times player's of the year weaknesses , it's about the Joker greatness people , come on bow .

The difference in this series is that double teaming Ant works, sadly for Wolves ,that does not apply to Jokic as we saw in game 4

Double teaming Jokic doesn't work that well, but it's still better than letting him play 1v1 versus a lighter defender.

He's (Jokic) already doing more than I seen Le Choke ever do

It's all Shaq's fault. When Shaq dissed Joker in the MVP award presentation, he woke the sleeping giant, poked the bear, grabbed the tiger by the tail, played with fire, opened Pandora's box, let the dogs out, lit the fuse, unleashed the kraken, tugged on Superman's cape, spit into the wind, pulled the mask off the old Lone Ranger and messed around with Jim.

The problem with Rudy Gobert is that while he's an excellent rim protector, he's a below average perimeter and 1v1 defender. So what the Nuggets are doing is making him have to guard Jokic either baseline or at the 3pt line. That way Jokic can have a field day with him, and if help comes, he can find Aaron cutting under the basket with no Gobert to rim protect or he can dish it out for an outside shot. The Wolves need to make sure Gobert doesn't guard Jokic if they wanna stand a chance

Gobert is an excellent perimeter and 1v1 defender for a big man, Jokic is just great on offense

@@yaotingng7164 Jokic is a unique player but this is not a first with Rudy. One example: remember the conference semis in 2021? The Clippers were down 2-0 and Gobert was killing them in the paint. They made the same adjustment of making Gobert have to guard higher and won 4 straight

Agree. Gobert can't guard Jokic 1vs1, he get cooked every single time. With Jokic getting the ball at the 3pt line he scores every time AND they loose Gobert as rim protector. KAT should be guarding Jokic and Gobert should stay close to the rim. Anyway, Jokic is just too good for anybody, he got the full package, he is a livin masterclass of basketball.

Luka exposed Gobert’s defense when he was in Utah Jazz. If i remember correctly, it was the reason he got traded

What bothers people most about Jokic is that he’s not a freak athlete; he’s a freak basketball player. His natural ability to pass the ball where he wants is what makes him magic. No one will like this but the egoless European attitude makes for a better basketball TEAM.

Nba needs new award voters. Sorry but Rachels logic sounds like someone who had never actually played or experienced basketball commenting on stuff. People don't mention very important quality of Jokic. He is though as nails, he doesn't get injured.

Turning Jokic greatness into a Gobert chocking story. Wouldn't expect anything else from you.
