so true.

First time I heard this lady sing just 3 songs ago while researching the Lrbaggs pick ups... I instantly melted... straight up authentic voice you can't find these days.. Courtney Love had a similar sound but she couldn't deliver it the way Kurt intended it when he wrote it.. epic fail hahahha. But for real Nikki is a precious gift from the past with her authentic voice... She delivers that vintage sound perfectly... and she is just beautiful! 3 songs and you have driven me crazy... like wow all 3 songs I just heard are awesome... Nikki Lane is legit

A few years back I looked at the list of performers playing the Newport Folk Festival. I saw Nikki Lane's picture and though I have to hear what this gorgeous lady sounds like. She's twice as talented as she is pretty and she's damn pretty. Best new artist in years. [Yeh, I know she is three albums in now... she wasn't then.]

I hear a little Chrissie Hynde in there...love it!
