now that u mention it...her head is still warp in bandages that the commander giving to her, perhaps even in Rapture form and mind reset, her muscle memories still hold onto it like a memento

When I first learned about nikke I thought it was just a “silly third person shooter with lots of fanservice”, but after listening to this theme I realized that it’s actually deeper than that. The dev team is actually making something really awesome with the story

​@AlveousXD that scene is my favorite moment in the story. I felt just as pissed as Anis. Marian comes to her senses for 5 seconds just to get corrupted again. I hope she's a summon one day ( Marian as we knew her, not Modernia.)

The first encounter was the point in the story that made me say, I came for the “plot” but I stayed for the plot.

We didn't have enough power to take care of her the first time, nor did we have the power to take care of her a second time. The first nikke under our command is never forgotten and each time the commanders become stronger and stronger and this time there will not be a third time.

Also how most nikkes mention how the captain does not act like a normal human most of the time, example, how he used Snow White rifle to shot Modernia, even if he went flying, I imagine a normal person would end with their arms dislocated.

Man this boss fight was tough. Only had to level up Mihara a bit past the 80 cap to stand a chance and not get time-out.

When we first met her I was a bit suspicious, but when the mask cracked and fell I couldn't contain a gasp and a "NO! NO WAY!" in a mix of hope (to get her back) and despair for having her on enemy side. I wasn't this hyped on a bossfight since I played Baldr Sky.

I can fix her kind of meme poping up in my head so hard during the fight

well if they still follow by the lore, Pilgrim always powerful in 1 way or another...i got Rapunzel but she is the only healer i have in a team and she constantly heal with her fully charge while other NIKKE require skill or certain condition to begin healing. Scarlet is 1 ammo divided to 5-7 hits of 3 normal NIKKE bullets (it like a shotgun but sword) hence why she is the top DPS

Rapunzel makes my simulation room progress way easier compared to using full attacker team. Imagine people with well built scarlet, they can slash most bosses very well. And with that, marian will likely have great kit since she's a pilgrim. :)

I just realized the only indicator Modernia is part of the Pilgrim faction is the Pilgrim logo on her visor, which is only viewable as an NPC. :O

I just got done beating her the music was sick. I was reading the story for some random reason normally I skip it but I read it before the fight was like oh shit this the girl from the beginning then it went into the boss fight the music and animation I was like 😮

Spoiler for end of chapter 7 and further: She(modernia/marian) escapes, while commander and encounter + snow white trapped. And as of floor 12, we yet to see her return. Edit: actually chapter 14 she reluctantly joins pilgrim. So marian banner when? :(

Enjoy Modernia as a character but her boss fight is probably the most annyoing one out of all boss fights due to its design to be a Time-Delayer boss which focus on trying to delay the player's party long enough for the timer to run out.

The dubstep goes hard. We’ve been seeing a lot of good OSTs in games lately that incorporate dubstep and choir nicely. Unwavering Belief from Lost Judgement is another good example.
