I saw this judge the first time on youtube when she went viral for presiding over a robbery case and the guy who was being judged was her grade school friend. The guy didnt know till she stopped her spiel and pointed it out and the dude basically bawled his eyes out and was so humbled by it all. Amazing how 2 kids from the same area growing up could go in such opposite directions. It was touching how kind she was.

The update to the story makes it such a happy story. He served 10 months after they met in court when that viral video happened. When he was released the judge aka Mindy Glazer was also there with his family to greet him when he got out. There’s even photos of it with both of them hugging and smiling. She talked with him and apparently she pleaded & made him promise to get a job, get clean, and care for his family. She also asked him to make amends to his victims. But he said that seeing his former childhood friend & classmate as a judge was a huge wake up call, a “new lease on life”. He talks about how since they went to school together that seeing her up there, he realized how he like wasted his life where he could’ve ended up like her too but instead was on the other side of the law because of his addiction to coke and gambling. Last I heard he’s clean, kept his promise and doing good as the manager of a pharmaceutical company. It’s sad he got caught up with drugs and gambling where he would steal to support the addictions. Cause he really did seem like a nice & bright kid who just got into a mess & bad influences that caused him to spiral from his addictions. They describe him as “Academically gifted child who self-taught himself Spanish and excelled at math and science. He went to William J. Bryant Elementary School. His elementary school grades were so good that he was handpicked to join Nautilus Middle School. He dreamed of becoming a neurosurgeon. The middle school was considered one of the best schools in Miami in the 1970s.” Hope he’s still doing good

She was immediately more on Nikita's side and you can clearly tell from her body language and the way she spoke about the issue. But everyone who's seen the body cams can agree that her behavior was more than just a glass of water thrown at the officer and a simple disorderly conduct.. it was straight up unacceptable and no way to treat any other human.

I'm willing to bet she was well aware that throwing or spilling anything on a Corrections Officer would result in a battery charge and she did it anyway. A charge of "battery" is "intentionally making contact with an individual in a harmful or offensive manner." Pelting someone with a cup would fit both of those descriptions. Corrections facilities understandably have no tolerance for inmates throwing things at their officers. So, expect to have the book thrown back at you if you do it.

Judge Mindy Glazer is one of the best judges in America. I met her in a Starbucks once just outside of Miami and she was so kind when I brought up seeing her on Facebook. I wish I’d have asked for a picture bc she’s blown up since. I love her so much and I pray if I ever get in trouble in Miami she’s my judge

It’s the “sponsorette” lifestyle. The term has been condemned because it comes across as misogynistic but it is what it is. It’s a fascinating but really seedy online phenomenon where really rich men, often in Europe or the Middle East, solicit these influencers through Instagram for a weekend getaway at swanky hotels and beach resorts, but also wild sex and bizarre fetish activities, for which they’re paid top dollar. The Instagram accounts kinda give it all away. What woman who’s barely 22 and supposedly in a top university for law or medicine has time to be globetrotting and lounging on a different beach every other day?

Sorry that’s how objective reality and the brain works with pronouns🤷🏻‍♀️ If I was on the street and walked passed you and you didn’t know me, your brain would make the automatic subs conscious assumption that I’m a female because I look like one but I actually am not one and therefore you’d assume she/her on me 🤷🏻‍♀️ even before I transitioned, I was always mistaken for a female because I looked like one and was “pretty boy” in looks to the point I look like a girl since birth. men in public men toilets would look at me weird as if I’m a woman trying to invading men toilet space and I can’t even count the amount of times they said “lady’s toilet is on that side” as I opened those toilet doors.

@@pa5666 Right. 🙌🏻 Yea everything I was seeing in the comments and I’m like people probably aren’t understanding it correctly. If you don’t have someone in that town and there ready to go pay cash, not card, then you yourself have to have that cash in your possession of your items they took when you got booked. If you don’t your screwed. The only way the bail bondsmen will come to the jail is to get your money from your items that was taken when booked and then they will do the paperwork with you. So if you don’t have it at the jail your screwed unless someone can help you. Which if she’s on vacation then her options are limited. I’m sure she has the money just not necessarily on her. And it’s a whole process when your the one calling the bail bonds from the inside because there’s so many steps and then you have to keep calling them back over and over when they are trying to work with you if you have no one to help. Some will get you out with not all the money and then you can pull the rest out after and pay them right then, but some might not to ya know. So it depends.
