4% Flyknit are also my favourite racing shoe ahead of the Vaporfly. Not sure why but I love the last with the high arch in, just hugs your foot and feels so good. Got a fresh pair of the OG colour to break out for a race in the future and can’t wait!

Lol yes that’s my doggo.

A word of warning. I fell in (& out of) love with this propelling plate technology . The propelling force was clearly evident from the first time I tried them on, and so I purchased 4 pairs of beautiful bone coloured zoom fly runners (on sale) that I wore exclusively every day for many years.. I wore them continuously, both in the office and after work. Now, am not a runner but I do walk a fair amount. I believe the zoom fly contain a nylon version rather than the full carbon plate mentioned in this vid, but I suspect the effect is very similar. After 5 years of exclusively wearing this technology , I developed a strange and painful foot condition. at first I didn’t connect the dots , but I noticed my feet became very weak feeling around the metatarsal heads. I strongly suspect that this was due to the inflexibility of the forefoot region in this technology. I think my forefoot foot strength gradually atrophied over 5 years due to the introduction of a highly mechanical aid in my natural gait. I spent the best part of a year hardly able to walk, resting a lot and then repeating the same injury over and over , having spent many weeks in recovery each time.. It wasn’t until I put 2+2 together & stopped wearing shoes with this plate technology that my feet started to recover. A year of normal running shoe rehabilitation later and my forefoot strength seems to back to normal. So, in conclusion, while this spring-plate technology does feel undeniably great,, I think it can cause problems with continuous , long term (exclusive!?) wear. I guess they’e fine if you only run in them or use them occasionally (to break a world record or something::) Just don’t wear them exclusively every day for half a decade as I did!! I had just begun wearing pair number three when these injuries starting happening. Pair number 4 are still brand new and will remain in their box. Props to Olivier/Nike for a great tech innovation though!

I use these in my long runs. I try to keep switching up so I don’t wear these out.

hi from Germany, watched FSR, and now I'm hooked and just thankful I found this channel; easily the most informative sneaker review channel on yt, thank you Tiffany! although I'm into retro runners and sneakers from my youth(I'm 48), it's interesting to get to know all this technical detail I was wandering about anyways and only knew so much about... (also, i feel I'm too old for most of the sneaker content on yt) I know you do almost only running shoes, but I'd love to see you do a review on a new balance 990v5, the mother of all dad-shoes, and most comfortable all-day sneaker of all time; plus it's made in the us, so it's even more American than nike, so you don't have to feel bad buying outside of nike... just kidding.and it looks great on foot, much less bulky than one would think... p.s. google my yt-name, buy the book - it's the funniest shit you will ever read, trust me

So I seen you on FSR and I got a handful of questions, why haven't you done a review on the mirror max 720s? And what's your thoughts? What sneaker would you recommend for a delivery driver?

Love the ride of the midsole. But I get heel slippage.

Awesome review but I can't get a pair!! Lol. What's most similar to the zoom elite 10 in your opinion? LOVE your channel. Thanks for the great work.

I used to use them for my tempo days (along with the Zoom Fly Flyknit). They were pretty fun to run in until they started having little cracks in the heel area (nothing major, probably just cosmetic). Now I only take them out occasionally for a quick 5k. Also this year, there have been quite a few interesting carbon fiber plated shoes that are slowly replacing the shoes in my rotation.

@@TiffanyBeers I'm currently using the New Balance Fuelcell TC and Saucony Endorphin Pro on my tempo days, two very different shoes even though they both come with a carbon fiber plate.You should definitely give them a try!

Did you go tts or half up in these? I’m still conflicted on sizing. Tried tts and they felt narrow, tried half up but they felt long (a bit more than thumb’s width up front)

I stuck with my size. It’s a knit upper so will give a little. They are narrow though.

What do you think about Boost HD (high-density)? Also with this video, are you going to review the Alphafly later?

not tiffany but, too stiff also, bounce works well if the midsole shape is bevelled like the older boost models (energy, supernova glide)
