For the past three years, Nike SB’s Not Here By Luck series has been shining a light on emerging talents within women’s skateboarding. The latest episode offers a candid insight into the life of 19-year-old Julie Betrix.
Hailing from Annecy, France, Julie, like many of her peers, began skiing in the mountains before a childhood friend inspired her to take up skateboarding. It wasn’t long before the local skate shop made Julie their first female team rider.

Remember when Nike SB was for skateboarding? Then all the KZreadrs tried convincing everyone 25 and below that sneakers are inherently more valuable than they actually are? Then everyone was a reseller for two years and all the prices went insane? Now people have realized the stupidity and the sneaker market is crashing. Oh thank God!

Yeah there is a short period where you need to break them in but after that they're solid

Nike can call it the same shoe while using cheaper production methods/materials than last year while at the same time increasing the price. When people comment about this shoe, they are wearing something different.

You're absolutely right. Except for raayssa leal, that girl deserves her sponsors and then some. She's a super young girl and she's super sick. The chick in this video has nothing on rayssa. But I guess I'm happy for her at least she gets free nikes lol.
