I dont think the kiddos really get how hard some of this is. Theres a reason Grant's been doing this shit for a decade at least and no one is even really in the same lane.

That’s a very legit statement

Back in the late 90’s and early 2000sI went to Woodward camp every summer. I remember grant as a young camper and he was ripping, I knew he would become something special. It’s amazing to see him grow into one of the all time greats.

GT always gets me back to the good old Phil Shao days...

He's been my favorite since his 2011 "Grant Taylor" part, I had just been skating a year or two at that point and he has been my biggest influence for sure

Grant literally has become one with his board. He’s the most naturally gifted skater of all time. Nobody is even in his stratosphere and it’s been that way for years now. Ironic that’s the name of the shop in the ATL. All Hail Grant Taylor!!!

No one has better style than GT and the pop, holy fucking shit!!!!!! He looks weightless when he skates, so good!!!

I still think the Alien Workshop team during the Mindfield era, was the best team ever. GT, Dylan Rieder (RIP homie), AVE, Arto, Kalis, Kirchart, Dill, Omar Salazar, etc. A fucking entire team of straight up Skateboarding Hall Of Famers and legendary players, without question. I miss the purity of The Workshop Team. The closest thing to it today is the FA/Hockey squad of skate assassins. Anyways, GT was truly one of the first All Terrain Rippers that kids like Jagger and CJ are now representing. The progression is mind blowing to someone like me who grew up skating in the 80’s during verts glory years and as the early 90’s as the original H-Street team began pushing the technicality of freestyle tech to the streets. GT continues to get better and better as the years come and go. I feel blessed to have watched this culture drive popular culture, becoming fully legitimised while maintaining its anti establishment heart and soul. Skateboarding is really God’s gift to the world.

Best skater in the world!! And IMO if you take inventing tricks and promotion stuff (ie THPS etc) out of the equation the GOAT. Literally every trick he does looks the way it’s supposed to look. Insane talent!!

WTF, how god damn fast was he going for that crook? Dude was fucking cooking. As sick as his footage is, you know he's that dude who is insane to see in person. He's Wade Speyer, Chris Miller, TNT and Senn combined. And Huff. There's super tech guys out there where you can tell someone the trick and more or less they know how gnarly it is. But with Grant Taylor you just have to see it to get how crazy he is.
