Agreed! Crazy that retail is only $110 and Jordans can be $200 with virtually little to no creativity sometimes.

One of my "need to have" aka Grail. Just love the neutral colors and the glow in the dark is just icing on top 👌

You right, it is a beetle know as Scarabaeus sacer, common name "sacred scarab". Scarabs were popular amulets and impression seals in ancient Egypt. Scarab amulets were frequently wound into a mummy's bandages to protect the deceased and ensure rebirth. Personally, I think they used this beetle for the reason and history I mentioned above.

This is the best sneaker of 2021 in My opinion. I even got Travis Frag Jordan 1 lows for retail & still I gotta admit I like this Mummy Dunk alot more.

Best review of this shoe ive seen so far! Awesome content! I just picked these up myself but not brave enough (just yet) to cut them up.

I’d put the Mummy and What The Paul above the Carpets and Strawberry Coughs just because I’m a bigger fan of lows but all the ones you named are great releases for Nike Sb in my opinion as well.

I think these SBs would look better customised or distressed, and have parts snagged and torn and little pieces hanging off as apposed to just cutting away at the top layer

For Nike Sbs I personally go up a half size due to the extra padding around the foot and on the tongue. Glad you enjoyed the video 🙌

These hieroglyphs on the back of the tongue are cryptic name of this shoe designer.

Love the shoe … I have a pair myself I won’t cut them unless I had another pair to do it with , then I would …lol …

These are made with skateboarding in mind, once the skater rips through the first layer of canvas it reveals the suede underneath. Dont think people should skate them though the resale value is going to be insane😂💯

@@bdurrrr This is a limited release. Can’t get them online only in stores. Half the stores I’ve seen that are selling them are doing raffles only… This is going to be very fucking hard to come by. I would say unless you’re willing to spend big bucks… You won’t get your hands on one.

@@ImCastorTroy8 Average sale price, all sizes included, is around 500 across all platforms. Only size 12 averages 600. Don't confuse StockX lowest ask's for actual sales. Obviously the bigger sizes will go for a bit more, but don't think they'll be "insane" as OP said.

Natural light/sunlight works great. I used a uv/black light to charge them up quickly but it fades more quickly as well.

No, any light will make them glow. Direct Sunlight is best but artificial lights work as well. 👍

Nick has been skating a pair lately and said they aren't super breathable but because the upper is a very light color they don't get as hot as maybe a black shoe would.
