Didn't expect a review of these from Sean Go!

Super cool silhouette. I love the small “ishod” letters between the WAIR, which is nice play on AIR

So according to Chris from WearTesters he spoke to someone on the design team for this model and a big inspiration for them was actually the Nike Air Flare

Great review as always Sean. Appreciate that you call out the inconsistencies and shoddyness in production. These might be a pick up if they hit the outlets. Not a skater, never have been but I can appreciate a good skate shoe.

copped both debut colorways. excited to get them sometime this week hopefully. great review.

They remind me of spiridons with the mesh in the mid panel and the heel tab as well as the overall shape but the insole logo looked like the Tn Air logo such a dope touch!

Im def looking forward to the future color-ways coming. They look a little better than the ones that just dropped to me. Especially that orange cream pair and the Black gum's. I really dig the insole design with the built in bubble instead of being in the midsole. I really wanna see how that feels.

This sneaker looks amazing

Honestly insane silhouette, makes me think of the Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon. If only it didn't have so much of his branding, I know its his show but it ruins how clean it is.

Another great review, Sean! Thanks for letting your audience know that the outer air bubble is nothing more than for looks, which is kinda disappointing, but in the same way, makes some sense because of the drop-in air insoles

Im kinda surprised you reviewed these Sean, but im not mad. These are okay aesthetically but the air max is a nice add on for a nike SB. I just dont like how bulky they are in the back with how narrow the shoe is on the front. As a skater, im sure they would skate fine for most w how clean the toe is but id stick w SB dunks anyday. These are a lot better than his 1st model

At the moment... its easier to grab these to toss away than most SB dunks. Especially at this price.

Been waiting for an air max skate shoe

Good job on pronouncing his name correctly lol. I picked these up yesterday at my local shop. I went at the perfect time too bc they put up a bunch of random sbs up on the shelves too. I left with ishods and fog dunks😈

i love ishod hes such a good ass skater! The ishod 2's are nice way better than the 1's

This is a really nice shoe, materials are meh, but the next set of color ways look much better. They have a white/orange suede and a white/black suede. Awesome review as always!

I bought these for casual. The first shoe I purchased of the year. I dont even push on a board. I love skate shoes though. Always have.

How comfortable are they? I'm not a skater, but I really like these shoes. I'm thinking about buying them, but I don't know how well they can be used as casual wear. What are your experiences in the longer term?

@@mrsnow259 extremely comfy for long days. I brought em out last week for a long day on my feet running errands. More comfy than my airmax big bubble. I'll be grabbing at least two more pairs of the shoe this year. The pink and verdy pairs I need. I'll settle for blue toe as I wanted those first. If you can get these on sale... don't buy em full price like I did. They aren't flying off the shelves

I saw a new black colorway on the Nike app that looks really nice Im a narrow foot and the ishod wair 1 were excellent for me in size. How is this one holding up for you? Have you been wearing them outside?

Ill be putting grey laces in mine since I copped this colorway and I see for reviews this is the more popular of the two. I would have went for the orange if they were instock.

They look good on the feet imho. Keeping them? Based on your review, the size I ordered might be too small. 🤷‍♂️

@@SeanGo i went tts. they fit better than i expected. i have a wide foot, they're very slightly snug, but not enough to make me go up 1/2 a size. however, the quality left something to be desired. green paint on the midsole, come on...

How do you think it would work to switch out the insoles on these? I wear orthotics specifically smart feet which are pretty thin and sometimes when I switch out my insoles it just feels off. I’ve never had any issue switching them out on shoes where they are removable like most sb dunks, and j4’s, however it seems to be problematic with shoes that have a leather sock liner. Not sure if that helps but let me know your thoughts 🙏

the stock insoles are THIC especially the heel with the Air bag, so if you’re swapping them you’re gonna need one that’s close to the same thickness otherwise you’ll probably be swimming in them in the back half of the shoe

Good looking shoe, esp for early 00s, but i despise the W A I R and I S H O D branding around the shoes. Would've been much nicer to keep it discreet, on the insoles or inner lining of the shoes. Hate seeing people's random names embossed or stitched onto the actual sneakers.
