Released in 1989, the Air Jordan 4 took flight with Tinker Hatfield’s design chops and our own Sandy Bodecker's help at the helm. Introducing new materials to the courts and evolved tech for breathability, the AJ4 continued the franchise’s cutting design and luxury-influenced aesthetics. Like the man himself, the run remained flawless and the Air Jordan 4 instantly became an icon. Beloved by many for its undeniable style and comfort, the original Air Jordan 4’s design became a perpetual “what if” for skateboarders looking for a performance shoe that stepped up to the progression of a revolutionary era. In 2023, the circle is complete.
Featuring Nicole Hause, Dashawn Jordan, Oski Rozenberg, Caleb Barnett, Antonio Durao, and Eric Koston.
The Nike SB Air Jordan 4 drops March 17 in select skate shops and March 21 in SNKRS.

Jordan 4 next level comfort? I feel bad for your dawgs my guy. Mfers know 4s are some of the most uncomfortable retros, only beaten by 1s. They’re just hyped rn with SB Dunks, or else Jordan brand wouldn’t have done ish with SB.

@@eatmysalt291 I’ve own all the retro 4’s and they’re not that comfy. Feels heavy and boxy. But these are different. They feel lighter and they actually feel like they mold with your foot if you go tts. I love the comfort in these.

I’m loving the link between Jordan and skateboarding
Was lucky enough to get a pair and compared with my other AJ4 these have definitely been improved on for skateboarding with the higher mudguard, no air unit in the forefoot and specific padding around the achilles to lock your foot into the sneaker better. I'm definitely going to be skating in them and love that my love for skateboarding culture and Air Jordan sneaker culture have combined to create this silhouette.

For as long as I could wear Jordans I have never been able to wear 4s cause they hurt my feet so much but somehow NikeSB fixed that issue with these I’m not a skater but I am proud to say that these are my first personal pair of retro 4s Thank you, NIKESB

My shop actually did it, we had a 6" Ollie challenge for all our SB releases so resellers would have to hit resale themselves, and once they got inside and seen the sign alot fucked off, prolly didn't think it was worth trying for 4s when they ankles on the line
