I’m a fan of Sabrina Ionescu, and I’m more than stoked that her shoe line is the pseudo successor to the Kobe line based on shape, design, and performance. I’m also digging how accessible these are like how Kobe’s were a few years ago.

@@lyinbobbycottonseed Not everything has to be purchased on SNKRS and the Nike App. There’s plenty of sizes available on the DSG app. I’m sure you’ll be able to find yourself a pair if you actually put some effort into it.

Sabrina knew Kobe very well and she also wore his shoes at Oregon. So im not surprised at the design of her signature shoe.

I deal with this right here all the time. Sometimes I can be just slight defects. I wised up and always order 2 pairs & pick the best fit out of the 2 & return the other.

When these go on sale it'll definitely be one of great deal for a hoop shoe this year

OH HAPPY DAAAAY!!!! Shoutout to that Sister Act 2 cut!!! I honestly LOVE what they are doing with the Sabrina shoes….yes they look like kobes but I don’t see it as a bad thing, especially if it embodies the essence as well and are straight up performers! I really like the look of the Sabrina 2s. regardless of aesthetic similarities, I think they’ve done a good job of keeping it clean. Looking forward to the performance review. As for the question of the day, I guess between the two choices, I’ll tolerate the lip smacking, simply for what Chris stated as his reasons. I played in these for the first time and they EASILY outplay my kobe 6 protro’s. softer materials, easier break in (non existent), insane traction, and SUPER low to the ground but protective cushioning. i’m so serious when i say this might be the best hoop shoe i’ve ever played in for the price point

They were sold out upon release here in the uk - I did not even get a chance to see the sizes! They released sold out.

One thing I noticed that most of the Nike Basketball signature shoes that are out recently were designed by Ben Nethongkome. All of them lowkey lookin like Nike Kyries.

I like the design and i understand where its coming from . A lot of players were inspired by Kobe so the design is similar but the question is does it hold up the same in terms of materials. I mean you cant expect a protro kobe to be the same with these other than design but I hope that other than the design , the Sabrina line could shine on its own terms and seperate itself well enough and have a reputation of being a sabrina other than a Kobe inspired shoe

Nike is in business to make money and Kobes sell so making a shoe that Sabrina approves and is a kobe alternative makes sense. I'll deal with the chewer before a spitter anyday
