Better quality is subjective, depending on what you’re looking for. The flimsy fabric on the Authentics might not sit well with some folks, but it does have a nicer feel in the upper body.

Definitely. Also must look at functionality on court. For NBA and MLB as it's what the players wear. But NHL and NFL wear still getting a different product regardless

I miss adidas swimgman so much. Even nfl limited jerseys now from Nike are no longer stitched. I’m a magic fan and the new throwbacks came out and I’m gonna have to buy the swingman even tho I hate the quality.

Liked and subscribed! What if my fanatics authentic jersey doesn't have the sponsor patch, no bill russell patch, and no holes in the jersey numbers? (Looks like heat pressed and holes are printed)

Huge thanks for the sub and for watching! On Fanatics typically even the Authentics don't come with the sponsor patches and definitely not the bill Russell. Was it one of their customized ones or did it already have a player?

@@ksamkim210 I greatly appreciate you watching! So I got the DeRozan directly from the bulls store at the United Center. All of their jerseys come with the sponsor patches. Then I had the bill Russell custom made and added it on.

Do you know if the current Nike swingman (2023-24) are still slimmer/true to size fitting? Noticed on nba and fanatics website it’s now listed as “unisex swingman” just curious if fit is still the same

About the sizing. On the website they go like 2XB, 3XB, XLT. Etc… this is really confusing. What size is Large? O weal M or L NFL jerseys. I cant figure out what size I need here.

old swingmans used to be like current authentics and adidas authentics were much nicer than anything now . Thanks alot fanatics!!!! I need me a nice city edition for my celtics to get back in the game this season we shall see the heat one is terrible.

I was looking at the Authentic Icon Edition. The NBA logo and SELF patch is heat pressed everything else is stitched.

@@LuisRamos-tg8pk my kings statement is heat pressed to. All the patches are sublimated heat pressed on, it varies by team if they take the time to have them sewn on

I think the authentics look better and feel better. The heat compressed vinyl feels less comfortable on a swingman than an authentic jersey. That’s just my opinion. I love the stitched on feel much better. That said I own both. Prefer to wear swingman whenever I’m just out and about. Authentics on the other hand I’ll wear only when watching the game.

I agree that authentics look better and are what the players wear, but I really think the swingman jerseys are more comfortable to wear.
