Hoping for a speedy recovery Steve , those hammy injuries suck. I know there’s a lot of hate on this sneaker but honestly I think it looks great and it’s the same exact set up as the Kobe 4, which makes sense bc Booker loved the Kobe 4

Appreciate it, ya it’s a huge bummer. They told me 6-8 weeks but I won’t be rushing it at all. How long did it take you to heal to 100%?

Hope you get well and recovery well! I actually played in the Book 1 yesterday for a league game along with 4-5 hours of open gym. I would agree to everything you said about the Book 1s especially the tractions and the quality of material. I actually went TTS with Size 9 since how much cushion and padding the shoes provided. I love the Zoom unit on the heal along with the ankle support it has. Normally I would go 9.5 with the Kobes with how they run narrow. They broke in fairly quickly compare to the other sneaker material. I did have some breathability issues from overheating which you mentioned, it would be best to add more areas to allow the shoe to breathe. Overall 9/10 for me personally. Plus great pair to wear off court too!!

I'm new to the channel, loved the review! Just subscribed 🙂 I've been collecting shoes since the early 90s. For the last couple of years, my love for it has finally started to wane. Also, I'm no Devin Booker fan. With all that said, I can't remember the last time I saw a shoe so well put together. It blurs the line between performance and casual purposes seamlessly, to the point that my wife (who thinks all of my kicks are goofy and ridiculous) found it really classy. I wish I could pull a one to rock one to stock so I could use it to death on the court, but here in Brazil it costs a whopping 240 USD, so I'll only rock it casually.

I hate when shoes run small I wear a 13 and it’s a pain trying to find 13.5’s. I got the blue pair should be in tomorrow hopefully they fit if not I’ll have find a 14 on resale market if it’s not too expensive SMH, hope you get better soon.
