The Zegama is one of my favorite running shoes ever, so to see it get even better is just so fucking awesome. Can’t wait!

Peg trail 4 GTX is one of my favourite shoes, it's super comfortable, warm in the winter and it keeps you DRY! Hopefully this new version is even better. I'll wait for the GTX though!

I like Nike trail and they work so well for my location, lots of gravel roads style trails. Looks like major improvements! Excited.

I am so excited to try both of these! Finally, some good grip in wet terrain could make Nike a real competitor in the trail scene.

Sat on the sidelines for the Zagama 1. The 2 looks like a solid upgrade. Also super happy to hear that we'll be getting GTX flavors of the Trail Run 5. Can't wait for this lineup to drop.

YES!! Nike - despite not wanting to like them - work so well for my feet. The Vibram on a Zegama is a game changer.

Thanks to Believe in the Run team for preview. Both Nike Zegama 2's midsole geometry and outsole traction look very promising. Upper is breathable and... what? Such a palette of colours and less durable materials are also questionable at such a price.

Every time Nike reduces weight on the upper, they screw up the aesthetics as it looks a bit cheaper (talking about the upper) the Pegasus trail 2 GTX Gore-Tex was perfectly designed on the upper (yes I agree that it has some extra weight but it was so minimal and unnoticeable)…it gave a sense of being a solid and durable shoe. Then came the trail 3 and 4 and it seemed a little bit underwhelming…from a durability and aesthetic perspective. I’m not a serious runner but I do enjoy my weekly hikes and trail runs up in the mountains and what I like about my trail 2 GTX is that it lasts and tackles the most rugged terrain on Table Mountain. And more so I don’t have fear that the upper may tear when caught on or scraped against any debris etc

So the peg has no vibram? Why Not? As a starter shoe it can be slippy and it doesnt matter?

Did it lose any weight? It was a bit hefty, would love if they could get to speedgoat weight.

Nike Trail Alvords were the best Nike ever made. I like a heavier shoe. I still wear it!

I really love my different Nike trail shoes. Current WH is the favorite. But, I really hated the Zegama v1. Grip and fit was fine, but that midsole was terrible. Firm and very uncomfortable. Hopefully the new version is a lot better on that point

Ngl I liked the look of the original zoomx zegama better, even though the new one sounds like it will outperform it for sure.

Do you think they'll be releasing a new version of the UltraFly in 2024?

They mention it s a bunch of runners :)))))). Over 2 years? If you have 10 runners they just need 2500 kms a year and that s 50k kms in 2 years. What, do you think that s impossible or what :))))))((.

Tbh, Peg Trail 5 is a bit underwhelming. Zegama 2 looks more like the successor of Peg Trail 4 with that gaiter.

I'm still going to wait and see re: the Zegama. I'm not sure the Vibram application worked well on the Ultrafly and ultimately both that and the v1 Zegama were too slippy and unstable to work on my Southeast U.S. trails. Hoping it's not still a total deathtrap!

Shoutout to Southeast trail scene, I have a theory that companies don't cater to us as much because they can't sell clothing we would actually wear in the humidity.

The Ultrafly lugs were way shallow and didn't use MegaGrip, so it didn't work as well as we'd hoped on anything like SE trails... Zegama with MegaGrip *should* solve that problem.

Please don’t ruin the peg trail gtx 🤦‍♂️. The peg trail 4 has basically been the official shoe of loopers down south. Great grip on wet golf courses and completely dry feet from a great comfort and light weight.

He better stay in the yard, or that dog collar might zap him!

Are you guys supposed to be shoe reviewers or fangirls? (i like your channel and a react trail shoe any day but your job is to ask tough questions instead of giggling...weak)
