    I stumbled upon this podcast today. I have heard AIM say all this so many times, so it wasn't new but kudos to Ananya for creating a conversation that made it worth hearing the same thing again and in a way that it felt like I was hearing this for the first time. Lovely interviewing.

    Abhijit has toned down his aggression about the Indian Foreign Service when compared to his earlier podcasts, He has honestly acknowledged how his thought process changed about the government and its machinery, about PM Modi, Foreign Policy, and many more. His wealth of knowledge is very good, really appreciate it.

    Social media has democratised news but it did not make it more accurate

  • @rudransh044

    @rudransh044

    Ай бұрын

    Doesn’t matter. They very fact that social media has democratised news is what matters. When the news democratises, you have a view of the larger picture. You have access to both sides of the arguments. You have the freedom to understand what talking points you feel are right and hence having access to the larger picture and both sides of the narrative. On the other hand, when you only have one source of information, the chances of it being manipulated by one bias is much more than that on social media, and even if news on social media is biased, you always have someone countering that narrative. You just can not expect this to happen when you have only one source of information.
