Nihal Sarin vs Jorden Van Foreest | World Blitz 2021

Спорт

Nihal Sarin took on the 2021 Tata Steel Chess Champion and the second of Magnus Carlsen Jorden Van Foreest in round 18 of World Blitz 2021. The position seemed around equal, but there were small imbalances. Nihal had a knight, while Jorden had a bishop. Nihal had a 3-3 structure while Jorden had 4-2 structure. Taking into consideration these small imbalances, who was able to come out on top - Nihal or Jorden?

The Indian guys all seem so humble and respectful, I really admire that in individual sports/chess.

Sarin is losing points in classical chess and in blitz as well, his play has been stalled for quite some time and he will end like Vidit and Harikrishna, in this best days he'll hit 2750, but actually he'll dance around place 20 to 30, just another low 2700 player, who tries to make a living.
