Nigun (formerly Niggen) Quartet - The Soul Sessions
A series of two clips of two original compositions. The sessions were filmed and recorded with a live audience, ranging between ages 9 and 71. Listeners were religious, secular, and every shade in between. They came from Italy, France, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, US, Canada, Israel, Australia, and South Africa.

This is Nigun's take on a melody from Modzitz chasidism, which placed a strong spiritual emphasis on music, and from which over 4,000 melodies ("niggunim") have originated. This tune is often sung with "Lecha Dodi" during Kabbalat Shabbat (the welcoming of the Sabbath on Friday evening).
