You simply cannot compare Floor with Tarja. They have two whole different styles in their voices. Tarja is very classical and round in her voice, which I deeply adore! She has the classyness some of their songs need. And Floor is the power and energy the songs need. Both are amazing in each their own way. I'd never say Floor is better than Tarja, because she isn't. You can't compare them. Tarja is Tarja and floor is Floor.

They get compared constantly as they are both astoundingly talented, but they really can't be as they have very different styles. This for instance is very much a Tarja song. No one else can do it like she can.

Tarja can be a bit 'dissonantly' but that makes her charming. Floor is too perfect/flawless at times which can be a bit dull so I always listen to them both alternate them. They r both stunning and charming in their own way.

Surely this has to be one of the greatest rock/metal ballads of all time!

Just perfect! "Nightwish" lost so much when Tarja left them. Anette and Floor are talented singers... but it's very hard to surpass Tarja

Tarja can never be replaced. Her voice is so above any singer no matter if they are named Anette or Floor.

I love Evanescence and Amy, just as I love Within Temptation and Sharon, but no one can compare with Queen Tarja for her opera looking voice, its deepness and the emotions it conveys. It doesn't mean the others have bad voices, but it's just not the same.

Floor can sing great and can sometimes go up to par with Tarja on with the legacy songs, but Tarja will always be special to those who started the journey along with Nightwish. I feel like there's no way Floor can recreate the same magic. To me, Floor sings very high end Nightwish covers, but it will never really be Nightwish. I feel the same when Tarja sings these songs with her band. It it is 99% complete, but it will never be whole without Toumas, Emppu, Marko and Jukka.

Tarja's wonderful and angelic voice defined Nightwish,Anette's voice is so ordinary.Nightwish without Tarja isn't that spectacular anymore.Everybody wants Tarja back,she's a GODDESS!

Of course, Floor Jansen is incredible. No question about that......And she sounds like many other incredible Symphonic Metal Bands.............Tarja's voice on the other hand is "Pure Magic" This performance is of such a high level. "Magical"

The only angel of Nightwish ever existed in this world. The only angel in this world that gives soul to this song.

This song makes me freeze into place. I will always fondly remember the years that Tarja fronted the band even though I still love them. This was such a dynamic time for Symphonic Metal.

She will be recorded in music history as a pioneer in Metal. Her 3 octave voice will be heard 100 years from now as well as this End of an Era tour and thee videos. This song is how I discovered her, my grandson watching ship sinking videos and one about the Britannic sinking with this song in the background! Symphonic Metal has raised metal to a level of respectability and now accepted by many.

It's only my humble opinion, but I think Tarja was the best female singer of Nightwish! I love her and her heavenly voice!

This song is Tarja’s. Nobody else does it justice.

Night wish sleeping sun is brilliant , Tarja gave an excellent performance

I cry everytime when i hear this song. After this everything changed and it was really end of era. My Nighwish is Nighwish 1996-2005.

When i drink some vodka and i listen this song, i always start to think sad things, what has happened in my life, and i start to cry, im over 110kg big adult man, but this song make me cry like a little boy...

Oh Lady - and band - I sit here in the middle of the night - and my skin crumbles - every hair stands straight ahead... I love such a powerful voice... beautiful - beautiful beautiful beautiful.... thank you... great opera... For the next time - this will be my most loved song... and the poetry - lyrics - wonderful.... a little bit dark romanitc - but full of life - and a prayer.... powerful...

The Voice of Tarja Turunen was the best. Without her voice Nightwish has no soul anymore. No matter which voice may be good after Tarja Turunen, without her I don't like to hear Nightwish anymore, because I just think her voice is awesome and warm.

I just heard Floor sing this song yesterday and I wept, as the song and her voice are just so good, so no, please keep playing it. I just listened to this version and while really good, it didn't have the same effect on me. I guess it all comes down to what type of singing style you prefer, as both ladies are incredible in my opinion.

As I have previously said, it really depends on personal taste. Tarja is a great singer, but I honestly like Annette's voice better in studio and Floor's voice better whether studio or live. To me, it seems the band has just become better with time. I feel bad for the bands fans that are stuck in the past, as the future of Nightwish is Floor Jansen and I could not be happier. YRMV.

very powerful and the moods are incredible filled with emotional........so wonderful and truly magical and spectacular song........Tarja voice just melt my heart away with song like this.......no wonder fans will missed her very much from Nightwish....like their new singer Floor Jansen.....love her singing too ......in her newer materials.....these older songs belong to Tarja and Nightwish.......but i got to say she did a helluva job singing old songs ,,,,,,,,,still miss Tarja a lot, not the same without her in Nightwish......still i love the bands .........no matter what...these guys kick ass....
