Tuomas reminds me of the Aragorn played by Vigo Mortensen in Lord of the Rings! Especially some scenes of the video remind of the final battle, when Aragorn, turning to the army, says in a low voice "For Frodo!" and runs to the enemy! BEAUTIFUL SONG! GREAT VIDEO!

i watched this music video with my dad when i was 8 years old. since then, no other song can compare how this video makes me feel. just pure magic.

Since I can remember, Nightwish has been a huge part of my life. And they will be till the end.

Tarja is the best of Nightwish for all times!🔥🔥🔥

I discovered Nightwish in 2012, so it was long after Tarja had left the band. But for me Tarja was the best singer Nightwish had. Her hauntingly beautiful and pure voice combined with Tuomas songwriting combined to create something so special that the world might never get something like it again.

Tarja is a traditional queen, sweet and kind, Floor is a warrior queen. I imagine if the video had been made with Floor she would appear cutting heads 😂😂😂 Different styles, but I love both 💖 As for the version of the song, I prefer the original from 1999, but this one is also good.

I hate Floor Jansen. And Annette Olzon. And whoever was after Tarja Turunen. She was the OG, and Huopalainen and Hietala thrown her like a whore.

Annette vendió casi tanto con solo dos discos que Turunen con cinco discos. En cuanto a Floor como nueva vocalista tiene mucha mejor voz que Turunen y lo mejor aún tiene un contacto mejor con el público.

There are 5+ million songs released every year, you haven't listened to even 0,01% of stuff that has come out this year alone, so how can you claim that 2005 was better? Do you just listen to the biggest mainstream music and nothing else? And even among the biggest stuff there is good stuff to be found. And by the way, back then listening to something you wanted was more difficult than today when you can do it in seconds. The entertainment industry in general is even bigger than that. And it's easier to access things. So how can you claim that it was better back then? I think you are just letting your nostalgia cloud your judgement. Personally, I really enjoy something I enjoy. So claiming that people don't enjoy stuff anymore is just weird.

The best times were between 1989 and 2001. The Berlin Wall had fallen, communism was as good as defeated. Everyone had high hopes for a better future. But since 2001 everyone was anxiously trying to hold on to the past and no one had a clear vision of the future anymore. Also economically the 80's and 90's were the best days for the middle income group. One could support a family on one salary and have some extra.

Evergreen like a tree that doesn't lose its leaves, it is always green and never dies or loses its vibrancy or in this case with Nightwish, this song is as perfect as it always has been, it's always wonderful, it has maintained its high lvl of beauty after all these years even through the different eras of singers. I think that's what they meant.

This is the band that I fell in love with and whose songs helped me in the most difficult moments. The end of an era for me was one of the most painful moments of my life. That's why today when I hear the old songs, I remember the happier times when the whole band was together. No offense, but this isn't Nightwish anymore, this is something else now.

In the summer of 2009 I made my first trip to Finland. I remember being on a small hill near Rovaniemi, after 10 pm, watching as the sun never disappeared on the horizon. Naturally, I listened this song with my headphones as I fell in love with that landscape

Love it. I really hope Nightwish will return to their 'magic' like fantasy sound one day. For me the trademark sound was last heard on Imaginaerum (which has nothing to do with the vocalist by the way, I like all of them. Endless and Human 2 nature just don't resonate with me that much, unfortunately. I like tribal and some songs from endless forms. But for me this is it :) Still lots of love for this band!

On her wedding day, my friend (who is also a Nightwish fan) caught a cold, her mom came to the rescue and put on her a white bolero cardigan and scarf on top of her wedding gown. It was my first time seeing someone wear long sleeves for their wedding gown, and I remarked that the long-sleeved look was very unique, and reminded me of Tarja's outfit here, from this Sleeping Sun (2005) music video. My friend then remarked that it would be an amazing wedding dress. Since then, I've been hooked on this style, on the lookout for my own wedding gown -- simple, but enchantress-like!

Не знаю почему,но песня грустная.А исполнение Тарьи,как всегда, на высоте.Много на эту песню каверов слышал,но им всем до оригинала,как до Луны.Здесь всё так красиво звучит,что я офигеваю просто.Не зря же Тарье доверили с Кипеловым петь дуэтом.Есть за что.Тут самому с ней спеть захотелось.
