Nightwish definitely has a consistent message. I would encourage you guys to go back and redo greatest show on earth with the lyrics and go the whole way through it. Just for yourselves..ok I lied do it for us. That would be very cool.

Boy oh boy, you can say THAT again! That's exactly the thing that irritates me so much about the crappy musical fare that is force fed to us here in the States --- chintzy, dumb, vapid, shallow lyrics that could only appeal to either a street gang or trailer park view of life. Tuomas's poetry by contrast is so deep and insightful that it constitutes a whole masterful artform all on its own even if it were not married to the music.

The music now a days in the states suck on the radio. I haven’t listened to the radio since 2009. I listen to my playlists on my ITunes. I tell my kids if they want to listen to their crap download it and use headphones with their phones. 😂. I grew up in the New York hardcore scene but now listen to Nightwish of course after I found them on KZread last year. 🤘🏻

That is so true...Nightwish Army is spoiled with good...if not the best music in the world...for 20 years now and still going on....🤘🙂 Tuomas music is not only the music is so much the lyrics too...he goes so deep in the lyrics in every song. This song is so amazing...the whole show is amazing...

This is one of the best Nightwish songs in my opinion, and one of the most underappreciated and reacted to. Angry Floor is the best Floor. Takes the belting out to a whole 'nother level.

you picked a good video for this song. Tampere is probably my favorite performance of this one.

iam in a Nightwish Coverband since 15 years know and beeing the keyboarder i spend alot of time getting to understand Tuomas and his style of doing music and lyrics (wich i do very deeply because i often have to change the song a little so we can do them with our tech) like him i cant read a book or picture without my mind making up a story around it, sadly iam not as good a musician or painter but i can tell tales ore write storys, so i followed the inspiration Tuomas gave me and became an Author (i mostly write adventures for roleplaying games for a german firm) he basicalley changed my life .

Round two: going through All your previous NW videos but doing the lyrics analysis.... Just kidding 😜 but I would watch it

I grew up listening to Nightwish. So freaking epic. I can't believe you guys have reacted to and like both Kpop and Nightwish but no Dreamcatcher. You neeeeed to see "Scream" Dreamcatcher are a fusion of kpop and rock. Their new and previous song has elements of symphonic metal. Like the operatic vocals in the background it's really cool, especially if you're already open to Kpop.

Guys Nightwish is one of the bands that is highlighting with lyrics. You should definitely check out their lyrics. I recommend Beauty of the beast lyric video.

Thanks, really love this song. And yes, we are spoiled... Nightwish effect. Spoiled with good music, good lyrics (poems), and with good personalities. And yes, Nightwish is a story telling band, that´s how Tuomas works. There is a story, then music and lyrics. And cos he is also a poet, sometimes we have difficulties to understand his stories... :D

The Nightwish Army is open to recruit anyone who freely chooses to open their mind as well as their heart.

Okay, I'm back. Here's something you should also see. Just like the previous link was the opening of their show in Buenos Aries. It's a much different opening, it features Troy Donockley during the intro, "Swanheart". But wow, when the song "End of all Hope" kicks in it's awesome!
