Nothing beats the original Nightwish wirh the Legendary, unique voice of Tarja, she will always be the Queen and Face of Nightwish, without her there wouldn't have been a Nightwish for some of you who know the history of this band. With Tarja, it was majestic, magical, beauty and class. Even Tuomas said in an interview that "Tarja is the best interputer to my music and feelings" and he also said she was the face of Nightwish, thats why you dont hear songs written now including loves songs like *Ever Dream* and *Ghost love Score* and many more, but only in Tarjas era and there were a lot of signs and body languages that cant be ignored in documentary and interviews. This whole concert is amazing and *From Wishes To Eternity* a lot of hidden treasure gems 💎 of Nighrwish history many are missing out. All these popular songs were written in Tarja era for her voice and will always be Tarja's❤ thank you for reacting to it.

That’s not Floor. That’s the OG. The co founder. The one Thomas wrote most of his best songs over 5 albums and 10 years. Tarja Turunen. The Siren. This is the Finnish 5, with 4 from Kitee, a town of 1900. Before a huge crowd in Helsinki in 2005. BTW Floor didn’t join till 2013. NW vibe was v different over time. Diff doesn’t mean better or worse just what is preferred by each of us. I grew up in TT and was there in 05 at age 16 so…

Yes, the classical with Tarja combined with the metal is what drew me to the band. I’ve grown to love all of the singers and I enjoy the crowd interactions in each era

Tuomas is a master of his craft and I feel that when he wrote each song he took in to consideration the skill set of the singer. i think any of the older stuff is best with Tarja. not to say floor isn't fantastic but the feel of the song shifts greatly with her and I feel they loose something in that transition.

This is a song all 3 female singers have sung so, you can compare them ,if you like. There always will be debate,wich singer did b.....,(it's just preference)The first Tarja and last ,Floor are regarded the most skilled live singers but Anette (2nd singer) has made 2 good studio albums and a few good live songs. The history of this band had /has much turmoil but is facinating to dive into.🤘

Hi , nice reaction. This was Tarja, the first singer. She left the band in 2007. The second singer was Anette Olson ( 2007-2012). The current singer is Floor Jansen ( since 2012). Next one? The song Shoemaker of the last album Human Nature (2022). Live in Hellfest or Deichbrand ( both huge festival). Nextmonth appears the newest NW album. I can’t wait. Such a good band. This wasn't Floor. She has sung this but with a less operatic style and the addition of multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley. Sorry not a fan of Tarja in so many Nightwish songs but she has improved since she was sacked. I guess she had to especially after hearing how well her songs could be sung.

Nah, but nice try. She had already started changing her voice years before Floor joined NW. Tarja’s tenure in NW has stood the rest of time. We’ll see how many people still care about Floor in ten years.

@@nicholew350 I agree about Floor's career already thriving before Nightwish but Tarja would have had no career without Nightwish. And before you say it, Nightwish might have failed without Tarja although Tuomas was and is an amazing composer so who can say ?

Tarja joined the boys to form Nightwish in 1996 age 18/19 depending on the date. She had changed her singing style twice as she was going through school. Then learning to sing over the instruments. She was there until this night. October 21, 2005. Helsinki Finland. Last night of the world tour. Once upon a tour. End of an Era is the name of the DVD with the footage released August 2006. Which concert marked the end of the 1st Tarja fronted era. She put out her Christmas album in 2006, then My Winter Storm her 1st solo rock album. Last night or the night before she was in Germany singing The Logical Song live with Supertramp. People making hits while us gen X'rs like Tarja and Tuomas were busy being born. Tarja is a bonafide world wide rock star, loved by everyone who knows her and is humble and down to Earth. Her career spans 28 years now. And I love how she sang in every era and genre. Her career is vast and diverse. Some 19 albums to her name. Also she and Floor have been and are very good friends since they met in 2002. Floor & her then band After Forever were chosen to be their opening act for the Century Child tour in Summer 02 across Europe. And Europe as a whole has a similar population to the USA. So that was no small offer. That dress is the same she wore in the video. A video which produced their biggest and most internationally played hit to that date. It broke them into the North American market. There are several full concerts/sets from Festivals they played with that line up on youtube. Try Nightwish Army or Tarja Turunen HD for fan uploaded content. The band is signed to Nuclear Blast records and that has their official content including remastered versions of old shows. Tsrja is signed to e.a.r. music and her official content is there. Nobody needs to ' prove' anything to anybody about who can do what. Even Floor has started her solo career alongside being in NW. People love Floor and I get why. Super sweet person and powerful voice. Just like her friends but in a different style. Now Tarja invited Floor in 2013 at Female Voices of Metal Festival to join her on stage to sing over the hills and far away. She called for no hate just love towards Floor. You can watch them sing, and dance and hug on stage. With that being how they feel about each other, why do fans need to try to stir up conflict they don't want? Like food and drink, music tastes are subjective. What does nothing for you is divine to another and torture to a 3rd person. You do you and enjoy. Since all their work from all eras are online you can choose your favourites. Make a playlist of content you want and none you don't. That is freedom. And lastly Marko was telling the audience let me introduce the man behind the whole thing (song writer) Mr. Tuomas Holpainen!! Kittos =Thank you in Finish.
