Hans Zimmer actually said he wanted change from the films so that's why the tours. Nothing beats playing live to a live audience.

What I like about this one is how it is being told from the perspective of music. As if music were a physical entity.

Floor's voice at her best... Her breathe control is amazing...

So you're checking out the whole new album. Just remember the golden rule about Nightwish: expect the unexpected. This production is probably their most experimental creation. According to your impressions about this videos, I have the feeling Tribal will be your next reaction

Not many high screams but the vocal gymnastics created for Floor by Tuomas is gonna keep her very busy during the show openers. Oh yeah 2021 get over here!

Hey Travis -- those aren't bagpipes of the Scottish kind, they are the Uaellian pipes of the Irish kind. Which is the chosen instrument of Mr. Troy Donockley. And +1 to anyone who mentions the song "Tribal," which you and Suzy should check out, Travis!

After listening to human nature like a hundred times. I can say this is my favorite song of it. It's about my medicine of choice.... MUSIC

The mythic 'head' is the Greek deity PAN (as referred to in 'dance with Pan') who is the god of the wild, shepherds and flocks, nature of mountain wilds, rustic music and impromptus, and companion of the nymphs. He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr.

So, the beginning is literally the sound of space. Tuomas asked NASA to use "space sounds" for the album. NASA does this by assigning different elements like oxygen, hydrogen, etc sounds, and they vary in frequency. They also take radio waves from spacecraft and convert them to sound waves. It's literally the sound of space if there was one.

Goose bumps again and again, no matter how many times I hear this.

0:51 - 1:51 is the “sounds” recorded by NASA in space. Then it’s the “sounds” from the animals - both are the earliest forms of “music” from the planet. The harp on the video is one of the earliest string instrument from mankind.

I mean, many Artist wright about Music.What they feel or think. This Song is what Music thinks about Human. My Interpration.. i forget, please more from Human:!!Nature 🤗

What a way to start a album. That same piano is carried to the last song "AD ASTRA".

The visuals were created by the graphics artist Toxic Angel. He's behind most of Nightwish artwork and covers etc.

I think others in the Nightwish army can confirm if true or false but the first minute (up to you hear the first howls and see the jungles) is actually NASA-procured Electromagnetic recordings of space into notes. You're literally hearing pulsars, radiation from stars, and other stellar objects as sound. Just mentioning here because it fits the lyrics.. As in this was the first music of the universe before wind, seas, caves, voices of animals, etc... I just think that's pretty neat.

Great reaction! This album is a concept album so, while each song does stand on its own, they present a larger picture if heard in order. I strongly recommend it. The song "Pan," the third song of the album is my new favorite Nightwish composition.

My favorite song off the album, because I think it sums up, in music, how Tuomas feels about...music.

The album has many tribal themes including a song called tribel.

You can clearly see that Suzi is becoming a big Nightwish fan already especially her beautiful words with Floor. She deserve to go to the band's concert in the future.

The long intro symbolises the evolution of music. From simplest percussion to flutes and drums, on to choirs and organs all the way to today. 😊 Since this is the first song of their latest album Human Nature, feel free to continue with the next one, "Noise". There is a real official video for that. And the best part: the message of the song and video reminded me heavily of ... The Warning's XXI century blood! Yes! Really!! Check it out, trust me!! Those two need to be on the same stage one day!!!

If u want some tribal vibes... you have to do Tribal from the same album xD

Thank you for the reaction :-) A song about music, told from the perspective of music! Example, "In here, I am the silence of sound. Curing the common show. For the steady song. There, I'll greet the greedy crowd. But will never, ever sing to them" i.e. a creature / human can 'sing', music cannot. Music is from 'Human :|: Nature (2020)', a superb album with Nightwish paying homage to / returning to / exploring their early roots on many songs but backed up by nearly 24 years (1996 to present day) worth of experience and technical proficiency. Tuomas really pushed the band from a technical perspective on 'Human :|: Nature (2020)' e.g. Emppu expressed concerns with Pan live (interesting as there are more technically demanding guitar parts in other Nightwish songs), many of Floor's vocal parts are challenging with quick successive changes and Kai the drummer added 5 new drums to his set so he can fulfill his and Tuomas' vision for songs such as Tribal.

My Album of The Year. There's been strong contenders, but nothing has edged ahead of "HUMAN :||: NATURE". It's the sound of a band who are at once confident in who they are and where they came from, but are prepared to push themselves into new realms to avoid the creative stagnation that has befallen other notable bands. It gives all three vocalists - including Troy - the chance to shine, with each getting their own lead spot, and also backing the others with lush three-part harmonies. For Travis to hear more tribal vibes, he only has to listen to "Tribal" - although the lyrical content and the themes it discusses might well be challenging to his religious faith. That's just a fair warning - although I know he enjoyed Weak Fantasy.

@@matiasbelmonte4576 The Epica single couldn't be more repetitive and generic. More of the same. At least Nightwish dares do new things. Epica has been stuck for years now. TQE was a milestone. But THE was more of the same. And the new single was... underwhelming. This is true beauty. And of course not suitable to any ears. As for the metal, the new single sounds like pop compared to Tribal or Pan :') As for the vocals, only when Simone is able to reconnect with her old self will Epica be interesting again. Can't stand her high-pitched voice these days. She insisted on becoming a soprano. Now she did. Aaaaaand it doesn't sound like it's doing any good to her voice :') Nightwish > Epica

Lol literally asks for the song Tribal :) Kai had to add a bunch of drums to his kit to be able to do the music justice for this album. Now we know why Jukka had such an enormous kit! That might be an accurate euphemism too, who knows lolol ;)

Like I said the World Tour following this album was canceled to you know what but there is talk of rescheduling so hopefully sooner rather than later we will have a live performance of these awesome tracks to watch. For those of you who are located on the tour's route I'm sure we will all be sitting their watching them live. Can't wait! I've been waiting for this concert since they first announced the new album and it's killing me lol!

this album marks a new version of NW. there is only strings and choir accompanying the band on the first side. no orchestra, no horns, no wind instruments. all that is reserved for the second half, where there is no band.

In my opinion, the whole album sounds ok but it lacks of the power I like. It sounds nice and soft to enjoy but if you want power you should listen to albums like dark passion play or wishmaster...
