The day I first met the love of my life we sat side by side and listened to this, not saying a word. It was magical, I’ll never forget. Thank you Yannis for this incredible cover.

Both floor and yannis can sing way higher than this ending. Yannis reached a G#5 here, check him on Wardrums Baptised in Fire for an E6 (and I don’t know any male metal singer reaching a higher note). Part of the performance is making it look harder than it is for them.

Best concert I ever saw was Beast in Black opening for Nightwish. This would've been an epic duet.

Mostly headvoice in the beginning. in the second half i sings mixed voice (take your headvoice and give a little pressure on it -- well, simply explained :)), but in a very high, technical quality! Amazing!

You know what I love the most about this video? Yannis is actually feeling the song, there isn't a single moment here that we would say he's not enjoying every second of the music, he feels it entirely ❤️

This cover has consistently given me the goosebumps for 4 years, and the original didn't really jive with me. I wish Yannis would do more Nightwish covers, his voice is perfect for the more orchestral tracks.

@@Olagfigh Tarja's version of Ghost Love Score doesn't have the epic final scream that the Floor version has. That is the part that everyone is referring as Floorgasm.

So ridiculously gifted and talented. Never thought a man could pull a vocal cover of Nightwish like this, with this incredible range and power. Tarja and then Floor must be really impressed and in love with what you have achieved here.

I'm not the biggest nightwish fan, but I watch this video about 12 times in the past day. This is so insanely impressive

It's probably treason to say this but I actually prefer this over both Tarja and Floor's version. I am still practically in shock after seeing that.... Wow.... Edit: also over Annette's as well.

In Floor's version, she is too dominant. In this version, like in Tarja's, the solo voice blends a lot better into the orchestra and choir.

he actually combines both iterations here, he uses the original lyrics where Floor might have misremembered ("brings me to thee", "singing on the shoulder") and instead of starting at the D in the final part where he sings "Redeem me" he starts at the F like in Tarja's version while keeping with Floor's interpretation

I’m a big fan of the original song, and when I first heard this cover, I had a Yannisgasm!!!!! I hope Floor Jansen and Nightwish listen to this, because I think they would love it!!!!! Well done, Yannis!!!!!!!!!!! ALL BLOODY HAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard this version first, and then I heard the original. Wow, this is so much better! I cannot believe his voice.

For me mr Papadopoulos voice sounds like a machine (that has not been oiled for too long), completely devoid of feeling, beauty or emotion). But hey, we are all entiteld to our opinions and preferences.

1) until 2:15 -> wow he got a very soft, sweet and nice head voice, i love him! 2) then -> holy shit thats mixed register....what a powerfull voice....oh my god he's super talented 3) he got deep voice too! What a beautifull low register! This guy got a large extension! 4) end of the song -> no words to describe....only feelings, emotion...you can only close your eyes and re-listen That's what Yannis gave to me...powerfull, deep emotions....thank you, you're a true one of a kind
