1:16 I love how the violins play the verse riff from Scaretale here
This is an epic piece of music...SO much energy. And the bit in the film, when the Arabesque was slowly thrown down...gives me a chills!!!
Too short. I know it's just an intermezzo setting the mood for Turn Loose the Mermaids, but I could listen to this much longer. When you get to about 2:23, thinking "aw man, this is GREAT!", it's all over... :-(
Listened to this album at the gym... BEST WORK OUT EVER
Sorry, Tarja and Floor. This is the best Nightwish album.

@@dneuens It's opinion talk. Tarja is my favourite Nightwish singer, with Anette and Floor both on second place, but Imaginaerum is my favourite album from them.

@@CptGravel Of course it's an opinion, I didn't think I had to clarify light-hearted hyperbole. I think the high points of Imaginaerum are stupendous, but there are a number of duds that make it not nearly as great of an album as Once or Century Child, IMO. Top to bottom those are just more consistent and emotionally raw. YMMV.

A masterpiece, plain and simple. The whole album. Genius on another level.
Absolutely incredible, and dynamic. Metal with operatic overtones. Quite brilliant. Love this piece.
I can imagine those drummers going mental whilst beating to that speed, like Toumas when he was moshing on Amaranth. 0_0
This is genius on a stick.
Why is everyone here talking about video games? I love video games as much as the next guy but the vibes I get whenever I listen to this track is not one of video game boss music or whatnot but rather I always envision trapeze artists doing a breathtaking performance.

Whenever I hear this track I imagine someone being seduced by this beautiful woman and then it turns out she’s the ancient Egyptian god of death and her would-be victim barely escaped with their life
Two minutes fifty eight seconds of brilliance

This would fit a chase scene beetween 2 galleys.
This sounds like it should be in Aladdin.
Prince of persia - warriors within. Same mood ^^
This features Dirk Mont Campbell playing the sorna, an ancient Iranian woodwind instrument.
*Genie Boss Fight*
This would be the perfect soundtrack for a movie.

This is too short but the movie scene was too long and overly dramatic. lol they could have done a better job at showcasing the death of his wife though.
Why it calls Arabesque? It needs to be called the Prince of Persia!
