That's why I never see these fights as fair. Every member of the batfamily holds back. Unless someone is minded controlled. (It's also why it takes several members of the family to take one down they don't want to hurt each other). Both members being mind controlled now that would be interesting.

Nightwing has been stated to be noticeably faster than Batman and Jason only scales to Batman's speed for the most part, Maybe even slower at times. Nightwing was trained by Batman who practically solos Ra's and Talia more than he loses to them, while also getting trained by DC's Greatest fighter Richard dragon, also Lady Shiva and can hang with her, can beat Cassandra and has beaten Jason numerous and numerous times. If you beat a guy waaay more than you get beat by him, isn't that telling of something? The amount of times Grayson has taken down speedsters too, is just abnormally too many and way more than Jason.

Dick is a natural born leader and has far more battle strategy knowledge than Jason has. Dick had to be a leader of the Titans and was responsible for many of their victories. He also has the second highest amount of incarcerations in Gotham (second only to Bruce). Jason is an exceptional battle strategist but I feel like Dick has a better mindset for tight situations since the amount of times he’s had to do it already.

How does Nightwing get the win for weapons? Redhood is skilled enough to match him and has guns on top of knowing how Nightwing fights! Then, you have the fact that Redhood also went through the exact same training that Batman did when he was brought back to life! Uhhh, you new to the Batfamily, Guns are like little BB guns for them. Jason’s probably one of the smartest but he definitely don’t beat Nightwing who’s arguably smarter than Tim and Batman or at least match them. Who’s taught Jason a lot, leads the Titans, Outsiders, Justice league and heroes and villains alike. Dude, Nightwing was taught everything Batman knows and MORE by the greatest fighter in DC aka Richard dragon, Batman who already went through that training so that training should be counted as him catching up to Grayson and Batman at the most. Gist: There’s no logical way when you add up the facts that Jason should be able to defeat Dick fair 1v1.

Nightwing stomps in a fair 1v1, but red hood definitely has a few surprises on him to take a surprise win too. That being said I'd give Nightwing the point on stamina too, and give red hood the gadgets since he tends to carry more of them on his person

Red Hood gets stamina due to having endured so much punishment and suffering. His pain endurance would obviously lead to an increase in energy output and Jason likes to enhance his physical capabilities so he gets stamina for a good reason.

Nightingale wins stamina, the man is an acrobat even among the most acrobatic of heroes since he has flips only he is capable of and incorporated into his style. Endurance for sure red hood wins. Though nightingale has gained more of that now as well over his last few runs and story lines but still not the same amount as RH.

This is a great edit but and I respect ur opinion but i think gadgets and the win go to Red Hood, his helmet it insanely advanced and he was able to get a grip on supergirl which means his strength is crazy even for a guy of his stature of being very agile and quick, so i think he has the upper hand by extreme diff 🤷‍♂️

The better Robin for me is Jason Todd If you add up all of his history including the games, Jason Todd really suffered a lot. Being beaten, tortured, and I’m pretty sure killed by the joker for 6 months straight( not the killing part ), is just horrible, Jason’s only hope is for Batman to save him, being killed, then brought back from the dead to kill joker, finding out that batman has been keeping the joker alive, even after forgiving him for not saving him, blowing up, and especially only being around 14-15 years old, an 8th grader/9th grader going through so much trauma, not being the original is fine with me, it’s the backstory and what he went through, some of my friends would think he deserves to be a villain but, he didn’t want to be. Nightwing suffered, but not as much as Red hood.

And Batman says that Jason‘s ta is the most strongest side kick in the bat family that he ever knew

Grayson defeated Paragon over and over who comes equipped with ALL the powers of the justice league. He basically defeated the league, feats to NW

Nightwing because he’s a carbon copy of Bruce himself but he’s his own different character. He’s the polar opposite he’s drawn to the light, he’s not so dark and moody. He was able to maintain the Batman Mantle that alone says how badass and skilled he is. Jason is Bruce’s rage and anger he’s no as smart at Dick but that doesn’t mean he’s dumb but yet he’s a carbon copy of Batman as well but he’s his own character. In the DC Vs. Vampires universe a Vampire version of Dick took down Jason in hand to hand he still gave him some trouble but he took him down but after he revealed to set up the Joker to make him look like the Vampire king he killed Bruce and proceeded to take down the entire Bat family Ik he had Super Strength at the time but still even without the enhancements he’s the clear cut best fighter/ most skilled character in the Bat family.

Homie, Dick beats Jason throughout all their appearances. Dick fights on par with/beats Bruce. Jason believes he will never beat Bruce. No weapons, hand to hand, Dick wins. Even early on Dick beat him with an escrima stick and slammed him against a wall.

Everyone keeps saying if nightwing doesn’t hold back or if red hood doesn’t hold back, but fr, they both hold back ofc, I agree with most of this, except 2 gadgets and speed, nightwing has been stated to be the fastest in the bat family, but Jason’s gadgets are unpredictable, I’d compare Jason to a death stroke type with a bit more morals and Batman training him, this battle would be extremely close no doubt however nightwing remains more composed in battle compared to red hood and that is where he has the advantage, dick Grayson has the smarts and skills of Batman but with greater speed and a Superman attitude and much better composure, red hoods whole identity is based on anger but uncontrollable anger id choose calm and composed over anger strength feel free to state your opinion in the comments I’d love to hear what other fans have to say abt this just keep it civilized
