i believe they target different concerns but i haven’t used the original and melty long enough to see the difference, but it doesn’t dry my scalp!
Just so you know, glycolic acid is a lot less effective when it's applied to wet skin/hair. Your hair and skin should be completely dry when applying glycolic acid or it can't penetrate and do its job and can be neutralized by water.

tysm! i’ve read that active ingredients can sometimes sit on the skin if wet, this is why i towel dry before applying 🥲 maybe i’ll have to try it on a completely dry scalp to see if it’s more effective!
