+Scoubisalami yah totally recommended 10/10 but i recommend you start at Nier: Gestalt cause characters in that part will show up in Nier:Automata plus so that you'll know the history of everything before Nier:Automata well i didn't get my hands on Nier: Gestalt so i just read the lore

Little Mermaid I am sorry but what? You may hate me for spoiling your speculation but the pic is based on a game called NieR: Automata and one of it's bossfights. The enemy she's facing off (Spoiler alert to anyone interested in playing it) it's Simone, a robot that has gone crazy trying to achieve beauty in order to get noticed by the one she loves. The battle goes down on a ruined theater. I just felt like explaining what was really going on. Now you can continue speculating if you wish.

Nightstep also involves genres like Brostep. People generally get confused between Dubstep and Brostep. For example, Skrillex is a Brostep artist, though he's commonly mistaken as a 'Dubstep' artist.
