Luv it. Down to earth workshop. Planer on the floor, basic hand tools and some power tools, no dust bloody collection bullshit, dowels instead of bloody dovetails. Using "sourced" timber. And a bloody good result. Subscribed!!!!

Awesome build, the finished nightstands look great and nobody would think they're made out of pallets. I think adding a fence at the rear of the open shelf would be nice to prevent things from falling behind the nightstand.

Nice work just one thing when filling holes with filler I always put first coat of varnish on . before I fill holes as it makes it easier to sand off without staining the wood

When you fill the holes from the original nails that were taken out before putting through the planer, mix those shavings with wood glue to fill the holes, much better look for the finish. A beautiful job from recycled pallets. I have a space for those they would look fantastic! Thanks for sharing your woodwork skills, awesome.

how do find that planer thicknesser? Does it do the job jointing and thicknessing accurately? I am considering buying.

thickness planers ONLY cut boards to the same thickness and smooth the surface on the cut side.. they do not joint UNLESS you use a planer sled.. though still not as good as a jointer. Lowe's, Home Depot or if you're not in US I'm sure any major hardware store that sells big power tools will carry one.
