dude i’ve been playing for 10 years and some of polaris’s stuff is still really difficult to learn this song took me like a week to learn😅Loved ryan’s stuff and his passing was very sad. he’ll never be forgotten🙏🕊️

I typically use the horizon devices 8 string set but use the lower gauge for the 7th string so roughly 72-10

I have a 6 string but want to play Polaris music. Is there a workaround? Do they play everything on the 7 string?? Also, do they play anything in Drop C??

@@AMarvelousLife one work around could be increasing your string gauge but it’s risky with 6 strings as you have to adjust your truss rod to balance out with the new string gauge. Another would be getting a digiwhammy pitch shifter which would just tune down your guitar by the amount of pitches needed to drop G and not everything of theirs is 7 string I believe. I’d have to get back to you on the Drop C tuning!

​@@SaulRamosMusicI get the feeling it's probably Drop C with a low G, similar to their previous 7-string stuff. I could be wrong though, it does make that chorus riff a little easier to deal with in your tuning.

Dichotomy EP (from memory everything, not too familiar with this EP) The Guilt & The Grief EP: L'Appel Du Vide, Unfamiliar, No Rest The Mortal Coil: The Remedy, Frailty, In Somnus Veritas, Casualty The Death of Me: Hypermania, Above My Head, Martyr Fatalism: Parasites, Overflow, With Regards Everything else is on a 7 string in a variant of Drop G# (G#C#G#C#F#A#D#), basically Drop C# with a low G#, allows you to play your standard 1st and 3rd finger power chords on the two lowest strings. Their latest album also has songs in the same variant to Drop G (GCGCFAD).
