Deano..as someone that lived in Lanzarote for a few years you definitely should have got a plug in repellent. It kills them. Only issue is you can't leave a window open or it won't work. If you want to sleep with a window open then it's better to rub one of the cream repellents on you.

Lucky enough im not disappointed you didn't get there as I seen it ok 2008 but still went to Corfu then in a villa with car amazing holiday 2 weeks visited the whole island kaisers throne I recommend if going back great for sunset

I don't blame you for cutting short your trip, Deano! I'm not a fan of mosquitoes myself. Oh and as for that couple getting busy for 30 minutes! God damn! And here's me thinking 2 minutes was impressive. Anyway, it's been a great travel vlog!

We are about the same physical type and age, and my friend, as a fellow red man I tell you, you need bug repellent come Summer in the South, I know it, I have lived here all my life, even if the weather in the coast of Portugal is less stagnant than in the Mediterranean. You can also use an old grandma trick, put a sauce with some vinegar next to your bed, it will kill some of the little buggers...

You need Jungle Formula spray and an afterbite stick, get a spray repellant and blast the room every time you go out.

These things are sent to try us. Hope you have a safe journey home.

It’s a hard life…

Flew back yesterday from Corfu with tui , my god what a scorcher , we did have a plug in but still got bitten a bit and the wife had 2 really nasty bites

Well done on all the new subscribers. That flight home was cheap! Would you have paid more just to get home? As much as I like going on holiday I really can't be bothered with all the airport palava, only been away once after lockdown - treated like cattle on the way home, hated it. Ahh well hope you got some sleep and feel raring to go. There's no place like home

Orion hotel Fallaraki..superb..end of strip,very quite.Fallaraki has improved foretold with government cleaning up the main strip.Most relaxing place now,I'm almost 60..perfect.Thanks for super videos.

I stayed in ixia years ago and went to faliraki for the day ...I enjoyed it ..the beach was lovely but all was a bit dead then ...it was after they had that TV programme where they went up the strip and got pi**ed up and puked everywhere gave the place a bad name ...in the 90's that was ...

For most of my life money was tight and holidays were a well earned luxury. However last couple of years we do fork out a little more for private transfers etc. just makes the whole stressful thing a bit easier. Want it must be like to travel private jet, when you want and to where you want - I can only dream about.

@@JustDeano I get ya - when you’ve not got anyone else to look after or worry about them being annoyed/disappointed etc. Maybe you’ll make so much money from this over the next few years as your channel grows - you’ll end up flying first class all over with them offering it for free anyway, just for your review content.

Worst holiday I ever had was in Sidari. I will never be returning!!

Sorry Deano but Mosquito protection comes before a 75€ steak , priorities first.budget holidays are called that for a reason , normally night flights and connections on flights and rail not good like we say you get what you pay for.

I don't mind. My Mrs has a real job so can't go away as much as she has limited days, and my daughter is in college. I know it doesn't seem like it, but this has now turned into my Full Time job, and so travelling is part of that. Hopefully one day (if my channel grows sufficiently) when my daughter is older then Mrs Deano will be with me on every trip and adventure. We are all going to Lanzarote next month 😁

FYI on the front row or the emergency exit seats the table folds out from the armrest! There’s a flap on the arm that opens and a folded up table is there for your drinks/snacks etc
