When I first watched NM Bendy vs NM Sans, I suspected he was held back because something pierced through him at high velocity. I then realized after watching a few reactions that he could have overheated. But when you put it into that perspective, maybe he was hit by some other force.

actually bendy is the winner but this red thingy shot bendy and telleported him back to his own dimention and sans almost died there like I said that red thing shot bendy so sans got lucky but if that red thingy didn't shot bendy for sure sans will probably die in hands of nm bendy so it's a tied. but if they fight again sans will probably die on the dual against bendy.

No, it's not because the red thingy shot bendy and teleported him back to his own dimension, it's because bendy uses too much power to end sans that he loses his power (just like what sans said to overheat him) and then, the red portal just showed up to take bendy back to his world

Sans is not dead but he is pretty much gone. Someone asked morø about what will happen to sans and he responded “FNF Indie Cross”. NM Sans has no dialogue there so im pretty sure what ever was shown in the credits reversed the nightmare energy and made NM sans brainless to fight BF or either it broke the nightmare form of sans and reverted Sans back to the judgement all to fight BF
